Ive just started watching emmerdale and I was wondering whelther some of you could tell me whats been happening with the different storylines at the moment. I thought Laurel's baby died? Apparently she has to get to love Arthur because thats her son? Could anyone whos kind enough give me a recap on Laurels baby storyline and other storylines at the moment.

Arthur was thought to be Mel Dolands son, but it was revealed after Daniel(orginally thought to be Laurel's son) died that Arthur and Daniel had been swapped at birth, hence why Arthur was passed on to Laurel and Ashley

IMO it started out as a great storyline, the death of daniel was a fantastic episode, but i feel its been ruined by having the baby swap eliment

Laurel is struggling to bond with Arthur as she still feels like Daniel was her son and Arthur is the Dolands.

Mel is struggling to let go of Arthur and is still spending alot of time at the Thomases helping them to settle him down.

Ashley's daughter Gabby is confused as to why Arthur is there and is not sleeping.
