Spoiler
We see that she had scars on her stomach last year. This year she told Shabnam about a "friend" who fell for someone else when she was married in Pakistan and the other man's (Who her friend was married too) family caused a fire in the kitchen trapping the "friend" and she never cooked again even though she loved doing it. We found out last week during the fire that the women in the fire was actually Zainab. Tonight she deicded to lay the past to rest and cook again. |

Yeah it was quite funny tonight but there were more serious moments in between that made the episode gel well.
A very enjoyable episode for me. |

agreed, eastenders humour relies on character interaction and warmth, corrie and emmerdales relies on tired slapstick a lot of the time, though that does work... for corrie anyway. |

I loved it when Stacey came in and sorted it all out in her usual way.

Anyone know? Ricky only won a meal for two people, meaning that they would still have to pay the difference for everyone else. |

I think if I were Pat I'd rather have let Bernard call the police than part with my rings, especially after being spoken to like that.
What mystifies me a bit is if Zainab is opposed to processed food, but no one in the family cooks, just what have they been eating for the last twenty years? Having said that, she didn't seem to find the cafe cakes at all objectionable

I thought the episode was stupid at Fargo's to be honest. I did however enjoy Max and Tanya's exchanges. I can't believe whole episode went by without the queen vic being in it

So I take it her and masood were married (to others) before then committed adultery, divorced then remarried right?
