More than likely not but i am going to ask if anyone else heard what i am sure i heard.

Abbie told some one that Lauren and Peter were on a three week school trip.

Now surely my ears are playing up and i heard that wrongly?

How unrealistic it's hard for school these days to go on trips lasting three hours let alone three weeks.

That's right Lauren and Lucy, but three weeks i have never heard of a three week school trip!!! I think two weeks is a rarity. To be more realistic for a three week school holiday i am sure Ian and Tanya would have been moaning about the cost i mean 5 days away normally costs a small fortune.

3 weeks in Norfolk...in my day we only got a week in Sorrento-if we were lucky.

When I was at scool, about 4/5 years a go now, we could go to France for 2 weeks, I didn't go because I don't like France. 3 weeks is nothing really.

The funny thing is, i'm sure in Monday's episode Tanya said she was going away for a week yet last night she said it was 3 weeks.

My friend's sister has just gone on a 4 week holiday, she's about the same age as Lauren and Peter.

Its quite funny it was Norfolk, the BBC couldn't afford to go there instead of Spain to film the Mitchell holiday episodes and filmed in Weymouth instead (YAY!).

What does Norfolk have that could possibly constitute a three week trip?

That's where I went with my school, we did rock climbing and stuff like that.

Not my cup of tea as I usually sit on a beach all day and get a tan on my holidays

Many Local councils have special field-trip centres for its school pupils to go to, here in Bedfordshire they run a place called 'Blue Peris' in Snowdonia in Wales. Some kids from our school would go for 1, 2 or even 3 week field trips to this place. So its not uncommon.

Obviously 'Walford Council' has one of these places in norfolk...

I assume it is for the actors to do exams etc... The actress who plays Scarlett in Emmerdale is currently absent for that reason, explained by her character visiting her mum in Canada.

Yeah, I live in North Wales not far from Snowdonia and there are loads of those sorts of places round here. We always used to go to them with school or brownies/guides. Although the longest we ever stayed was 5 days, I think.
