Sony Ericsson C902
I just though I'd let anyone who wanted to get this phone that it is Amazing I used to have a Nokia N95 but I've just upgraded to the C902 the phone is small and thin but feels solid in the hand and all the Functions are great. The Camera is the best I've ever had on A Camera Phone.
This is my first Sony Ericsson Mobile Phone and I'm very Impressed Well do. Daz |

I have just upgraded from a K810i to the C902. Its a smaller phone but defnitely weightier. And the camera is definitely a lot better - clearer and sharper. Just have to get used to all the buttons now.

I'd be interested to see some shots from it, as the only pics I have seen so far are in reviews and they have not been very impressed by the camera quality.

I received this phone as an upgrade yesterday and here are 2 pics I took as soon as I got it out the box. I took it on the 5mp setting, but they may not appear as high in quality as they actually are because the pictures were resized slightly when I did the upload.

Last year I bought the first proper camera with it ( the Fuji Finepix 31fd) and really like the option. I suppose it is like any invention. Soon it will be on EVERY camera and phone.

my friend is also using this phone for four months. This is a slim line Cyber-shot phone, Ultra-compact, stylish and with a unique lens cover that slides open to reveal the 5.0 megapixel Auto Focus camera, the C902 Cyber-shot sports a camera performance beyond its sleek and slim looks. With the C902 Cyber-shot you can be confident of getting the perfect shot. really he is enjpyiong a lot.
Thanks. |

Well those pics must be getting processed by the website software as they look awful on my pc, and to be honest the ones I've seen on many reviews are much better .... but not better than the N82/6220 at the moment.
I like the size/styling of the C902 though. |

SE phones of late have been so awful. The w910i, the w580i, the k850i - all plagued by serious problems. I have no faith in recommending them at all. Let's hope their QC has improved a LOT with the c902.

What are peoples thought's on the c702 ?
I handled one in o2 a couple of days ago and it felt very lightweight. They didn't put it on but it looked great. I quite fancy it for the aGPS plus the fact that the buttons are spaced out and it's a little chunkier [than my k800i] |

I guess you didn't ask them about the mapping software. A vanilla c702 comes both with a trial of Wayfarer plus google maps installed, but O2 removed these??
The c702 & c902 both have the a200 interface are similar, so if you don't need 5MP or a slimmer phone, then the c702 with its standard "candy bar size" of many recent SE phones is an alternative. The aGPS (and the assisted part can be switched off if you don't like incurring data charges) is a nice feature, especially as it allows geotagging of all your photo's. The dust/splash resistance will be great for outdoors activities (have you seen the video on youtube where the guy puts his down a toilet & flushes it!). |

I asked the guys on o2 about the google maps and a couple of other related questions regardint using the aGPS and they were utterly useless, though at least they admitted instantly that they had no idea what the answers to my questions were.
Even told me to contact Sony Ericsson support for the answers ! Part of the reason I myself like the c702 IS the dust/splash resistant feature of it. That and the buttons as I said in my previous post. All I wanted them tell me was if there was a charge for using google maps / aGPS on the c702 or if it was just data charges, they could not tell me anything. |
