Sorry, when I refer to cat5 I do mean cat5e, if your cbling has been done in the last couple of years or so then it will be cat5e.
That doesn;t sound too bad an idea, but if you're doing that then you might as well use standard CW1308 and connect it all directly to the PBX via a box conn. Then to change extensions from room to room you'd just swap the RJ11's in the PBX.
