Ten years is very unlikely! I'd say 7 seasons at best.

So people aren't turning off at all.”

As I've said other times not just here but in other forums, the only reason more people are switching it on more than ever is because:

a) it's on BBC1, where most of the lazy viewers stay tuned or viewers who hate being associated with anything that isn't BBC1 or ITV1
b) it is dumbed down so much for a mass audience to get into or to stay tuned into, not like other series, where it didn't focuse too much on the bitching, characters, conflict, etc...

Next series should be the last, or at least try and go back. But of course people will start switching off because there isn't a hotty, or a bitch, or a soandso, etc.

Last year it definitely focused on the conflict and bitching. Katie, Kristina etc.

I think it has run it's course. I got fed up really early on in this series and stopped watching.

I think I may try that if Series 5 is anything like Series 4.
