The Premiership on ITV

Recently purchased a widescreen TV. On Saturday I noticed that the 'Premiership' is still broadcast in 4:3 format and not widescreen. Why is this, I tried all the different formats on the Tv
(W/S Smart 14:9 etc) but it didn't look right it was best in 4:3 format.
It was recorded however, would this have anything to do with it if I had not set the TV to w/s.

That'll be your problem - The Premiership was in w/s on Sunday morning repeat, but if you tape it you'll need to set the TV to "Full" or whatever you normally have it set to for viewing w/s from the Sky box

Maybe you recorded it from analogue by mistake if it only looked right in 4:3
