doesn't the delay of the launch just make it a bit obvious that Sky are running the service? [/b][/quote]i dont sky is. lol as someone over the BB forum phoned sky and they had no idea about the interactive service. heres what the message over at the BB forum said. "It is supposed to be interactive now but they're having technical problems - I called Channel 4. They said they hope it will be up and running by the end of the week but offered no guarantees. This was better than Sky Technical Helpline who did not know anything about the coverage on e4, & assured me there would be NO interactive coverage on e4 and then, after speaking to her supervisor, the person who I was speaking to told me that if I wanted to go interactive I had to connect my Sky box up to my PC!!! Great Technical support." |

Nudity at 10am
Good start for E4! There was full frontal nudity at 10am on Bank Holiday Monday. The camera was in the girls room and one of them dropped their towel. The camera then quickly panned left.
About 10 minutes later, a message appeared at the bottom of the screen saying "We apologise if any of the material we recently broadcast caused offence to anyone". Nice one!

I thought the feed was delayed? Surely they'll have picked up on the nudity before airing? Cheers, Asa |

It is delayed
Channel 4 are delaying it because everytime someone swears, you hear the noise from outside of the house - i.e. trains going past!

Err, because kids are watching, I swear, but I hate see kids hearing it, I was in the shops last week and there was a mum swearing badly at her child, IK hate that, there should be not shits, f**ks or any of that before 9pm. They could certify the program as a 15 certicicate on sky to start with which would stop at least some kids seeing it when the odd swear word creeps though, like f**k at 3:50pm this afternoon.

I agree - just because swearing is heard in the shops, or in town, doesn't mean it should be ok to broadcast it in the daytime. I agree with the 9PM watershed - or at least introduce PG/15/18 "Adult Content" before programs start so that parents can allow their kids to watch it, or not.

I think...........
that during Big Brother's Litlle brother tommorow it will begin so we don't have to watch the boring Dermot, so we can have a choice. Thats the whole point of it isn't it?

Couldnt sky have just used the parental control while bb is on e4, it probably would have been mush easier and cheaper for them!

It never ceases to amaze me that people actually sit there and watch a programme about other people living in a house. It speaks volumes about the society in which we live. The words watch paint and dry readily spring to mind.
