The Doctor wouldn't kill The Master though.

She WAS wearing a ring during the drumming but it appeared to be a flattish oval black gem. The Masters ring was a beefy-looking silver affair with metal circles inset in a green crystal.

It'd be a fab plot twist tho......!

Mr Copper, as in the old guy the Doctor left on Earth at the end of Voyage of the Damned.

He only had a million not enough to create machinery such as this although I suppose it would mean he did something useful with the money. Obviously there is a more sinister reason behind the drums. Maybe (longshot) the Master himself created the software, or Harriet used ideas from him.

Either Mr Copper or Dr Copper

The noise that we heard with donna was a normal heart beat. Two beats and a gap. If someone had two hearts, theirs would sound a bit like the Master's drumming noise.

She looked lost in thought at that moment. I thought she was seconds away from coming out with something profound. Although it could be her thinking about her family instead.

Ahhhh, a loose end tied up. Will probably have the odd thing with his name on it popping up now.

Yes by why play a heart beat when she's at rest thinking calmly? Not usually the way filmmakers build up tension.

As I said she's a human/ time creature hybrid hence the 'you're something new' phrase that was thrown at her.

Why are people putting speculation in spoiler tags? It makes reading the thread unnecessarily awkward.

Yeah i heard that and for a second expected the Master to appear. The strange thing was is seemed identical and it served the same purpose as the Master's Archangel network...but was created by Mr Cooper. Mysterious.

Could the secondary heartbeat noise be the heartbeat of the 'thing' on her back - I don't think last week's Time Beetle is the only thing that's on there............

What you've been saying about it being a heartbeat, and the drums being like a heartbeat for a timelord, maybe its like something to do with something (sorry for my vagueness!) and is the human version!
sorry if that made no sense!

I think she absorbed some of the time altering abilities of the time beetle.

Seems to be that Harriet Jones is the favourite to be the Master (or to be under his control) right now...

IF Donna is a Time Lod then I can see why her mum is a bit horrible towards her.
My opinion, my thoughts, my life!

1) They don't normally put loud heartbeats in.
2) Donna appeared to be listening to it.
3) That lady who looked like a human but probably wasn't picked up on something about Donna at that moment.

I'm thinking that the real Donna will end up in a fob watch.

Listen again, fools. It was clearly the sound of a Heart beating.

It wasn't a drum. It was a heart.

Accept it. Move on.
