Mrs C and I have a pair of N95's, that have turned a year old and decided to start going flaky (battery performance is variable at best, the earpiece on mine has developed some kind of fault (the sound quality is really poor), and the keypads just don't seem to work as well as they used to.

We will have to put up with them for the next six months at least, until our contract is up, but as soon as it is, I fully intend that both will be replaced on the first day that I can. Mrs C has got her eye on the new Sony C905, which I must admit looks a bit of a cracker - anyone know when it is due for release?

Great - that means it should be available by the time our contract is up. Thanks

Why not get your N95's fixed? If they are problematic then get them done under warranty.

I thought Nokia phones had a two year warranty. You can pop into your nearest Nokia centre and get them repaired.

Oooh, really? I just assumed that they had a one year warranty - thanks guys, I'll get Mrs C to speak to Orange then (as we bought them off them)

I'm waiting for the C905 as well... I've read in a couple of places that it's due October 7th, but I have also read that the release date may be brought forward to August or September so that SE can compete with rival phones being released around that time.

a phone launch brought forward ... sorry but that never happens.

No mobile company ever brings it forward, why would they? If its ready for sales then it for sale, they simply don't have the capability to hold back a product and then decide to launch earlier.

I would expect to see the Innov8 first and the C905 a few months after ... and so far the Innov8 looks to be the better phone.

Does anyone know when the Samsung Innov8 is officially released in UK stores? It's not even mentioned in 'Coming Soon' on the CPW website. It definetely looks like a cracker of a phone.

I;ve seen August mentioned (which I think is a little early as they are not seen as pre-order with many places). I would imagine Sept being more likely (and many places list Sept as Europe release too).
