So we had Neil Diamond doing a brilliant job this year but who would you like to see next year, someone you can sing along to I'm thinking.

Maybe Cliff Richard, has he ever done glastonbury?, perhaps Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder or Dolly Parton who they should have got this year or maybe just maybe Jerry Lee Lewis

Too young? He has had three multi-platinum albums and is about to release his fourth which is looking to be the best of the lot.

He has a huge back catalogue - jazz as well as pop.

Still to young, they usually get someone 60 plus to do it

4 albums does not make a huge back catalogue - you need someone who's been around for a number of years & has released 10/20 or 30 albums

I'd like to see someone like Andy Willaims, Burt Bacharach or Barbra Streisand

Is this rule set in stone then? Do they *have* to be old?

I don't think they have to be "old" but from previous years it seems that they have to be established have a decent back catalogue and be someone you wouldn't expect to play Glastonbury so we've had Neil Diamond, Shirely Bassey, Tony Bennet etc -

I think Springsteen would be a hell of a Sunday night headliner tbh.

Dolly Parton? Guns and Roses?

Andy Williams would be good (if he can still cut it live), Tony Bennett maybe also.

Maybe Mick Hucknall could perform some Simply Red hits, or Michael Buble sing some swing covers.

I'd love to see Paul Simon live in Glastonbury, but to be honest I would be a bit gutted that he wouldn't be headlining. I think he is a genius.

Tony Bennet did it in the 90's
