Ambient lighting kit?

Hi,

Is there some sort of kit you can buy that will achieve an effect similar to Phillips' Ambilight technology, on any TV? I was thinking about something along the lines of Ambx but not for PCs.

Does such a thing exist. I was thinking it would be something like a kit of 4 (or something) lights which you hook up between your DVD/blu-ray player and you TV.

Anyone know of any products that will achieve what I'm after?

Ikea do an Ambient lighting kit, not sure if that's what you are looking for.

Could do with a bit of work to make it usable on a TV as it will currently only work on a PC used as the source, handy if you happen to have a homebuilt HTPC doobrie.

Yeah, i saw the show, that's what got me thinking about it. The system they mentioned is AmbX that I mentioned in my first post.

it's great (Philips tv)
But I saw Vögels make ambilight kits for TV's...

Vögels is also the manufacturer for the wall mounts on Philips TV's.
