BB10 News!!!!!!
Hey guys, here's an interview from Allison Grodner with clues to BB10. It sounds promising!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tbcYD5Dplk Here are some key points From WeLoveBigBrother: In this exclusive WeLoveBigBrother.com interview, Allison gives us a preview of the upcoming season's twists and secrets. Some of the topics we covered are: -Houseguests coming to town soon. -Houseguests will be going through press interviews soon. -Cleaning crew in the house right now. -"Absolutedly all strangers" with diverse points of view and backgrounds. -All different ages. -Twists and turns down the road. -Live audiences will involve fans more than audiences in Season 1. -13 houseguests with extreme points of view. -House represents the "places and eras" that the cast comes from. -The game starts before the houseguests even go in the house on premiere night. |

All strangers is fantastic. Diverse cast sounds great and of course live audiences for evictions will be a welcome return.
Got high hopes for BB10. |

Will we have another Chelsia or James like the last series? Or an Evel Dick?

Are they usually not strangers? Plus I wish they'd introduce the public vote, even if it's for the final only, as that's the one thing that stopped me from enjoying it last 'season' (that and the fact that it was crap).

BB6, pairs near enough BB8, 3 sets of "enemies" and then exes, twins, siblings etc etc and the public vote is what makes BBUS different, and much more betterer i would like it for perhaps 1 vote for the evictions, oe even just used in the even of ties, just anything. it could be used for the final not sure...live audiences, jury...oooooooofff cant wait till next sunday ![]()

But for the first time since BB3, the cast are all strangers. I don't want to see a public vote, that's what separates BBUSA from the rest, it is a game and if the public were involved it would spoil it. I wouldn't mind maybe the public having one eviction vote maybe, so I still want the rest of the housemates to vote to evict. And yeah BB9 was crap, but it was an usually crap series. I've got big hopes for BB10.

Since BB4 there has always been some kind of casting twist, BB4 it was Exes, BB5 it was Project DNA, BB6 Secret Partners, BB7 Allstars, BB8 Sleeping With The Enemy and of course BB9 had the couple Ryan/Jen and exes Sharon/Jacob.
But for the first time since BB3, the cast are all strangers. Maybe it's the different type of housemates that makes it work over there, but my two preferred big brothers (bbuk and bbaus) wouldn't work aswell without the public vote imo. Part of the fun of it is seeing them think the outside world hates them. |

I didn't get the "all strangers" part. Weren't that the case with previous BBUSA shows? Did the cast of each series know each other well prior to the respective TV games?
Sorry, just realised the question's already been answered. Looking forward to it. Last edited by JustinR : 03-07-2008 at 17:42. Reason: Didn't read the whole thread before posting. |

A public vote to decide the winner would kill BBUSA, they'd have to play a completely different game, that involved being likeable as well as a master gamer. I'd hate to see BBUSA become just another popularity contest.

Public vote on the net before the show begins to not allow a few of them in the house? A mole who will be known to viewers before they enter the house? Could be anything but im always wary of twists on the first few days. |

For sure you would never see a player win the game for being ruthless or sneaky as you do now.
I dont want BBUSA to become a popularity contest either. |

It starts on Sunday July 13th, but it won't be one E4, due to our BB. I'm so excited!

I'm a long time viewer of BBUS and I like that it's a lot different than the other BBs. On the other hand, the social aspect is what I like even more, which is what I like about BBUK, etc. I do think that the BBUS players are being a bit more themselves because they don't have to worry about what the public thinks of them since we don't have a vote. Well, usually. We had America's Player in BB8, but they won't do that again. And I even think the Jury Prize ($25,000 to America's favorite juror) could be a problem if they keep doing it. Mostly, however, they're deceiving each other, and not the viewing public. Quote:
I understand that it adds to the gameplay element and everything. But you end up with them just arguing for the whole series and (from what I've seen) no light hearted moments.

E4 could easily show BBUS if they wanted to..They are showing very little US shows now as its off season. The live footage of BBUK doesnt kick off till after 11 at night.
Surely if they got rid of the constant repeats of Friends they would have room to show 3 hours a week of BBUS?? |
