Wednesday 2 July 7.30pm

Tony (Gray O'Brien) has given Rita (Barbara Knox) food for thought but Norris (Malcolm Hebdon) can't believe she is even considering selling the business. He points out that it is at the heart of the community. Meanwhile Rita has started exploring retirement plans – even looking at properties abroad. It looks like Tony may have got his way despite Norris's attempts to put a block on the sale.

Sally (Sally Whittaker) is still furious with the Peacocks and tells Kevin (Michael Le Vell) to ask them to leave. However Claire (Julia Haworth) and Ashley (Steven Arnold) know they have outstayed their welcome and have already packed their bags. But with number 11 still not in a fit state to live in where will they go?

Ken (William Roache) compliments Becky (Katherine Kelly) on how well she did at the Rovers but Roy (David Neilson) is still not happy with her for taking the job. Jason (RyanThomas) meanwhile takes the opportunity to explain why things went wrong for them before and it isn't long before they are snogging outside the builder's yard – much to Roy's dismay.

Liz (Beverly Callard) is feeling guilty about dumping Vernon (Ian Reddington) but tells Michelle (Kym Ryder) she knows she has done the right thing. Keen to get away for a while she plans a holiday and makes it very clear to Harry Mason (Jack Ellis) that she hasn't finished with Vernon just to jump straight into bed with him

This episode was written by David Lane and directed by Tony Prescott. The producer is Kim Crowther.

Lol!

Especially when she initially said "finders keepers" when she found out that the Lowry wasn't real. She soon changed her tune when she found out that The Lovely Claire had made a tidy little sum from that "junk"

Indeed. I like Sally, she's a great character, but sometimes she is just so infuriating! Kevin deserves a medal.

They're staying at their old place while some essential work gets done at number 13.

Edit: Oops, didn't read the summary properly...

Yes, they do. The spoiler writer obviously doesn't know which number houses everyone lives in.....

Go on Kevin, hold her head under the water in the sink. It'll all be over very, very soon.

Now we know where Clurr is going on her leave: Ashley can be in the shop, Clurr at her Mum's until they've gutted number 13 over the next 3-6 months...
