0870-Orange
I was just wondering what the price per minute is to ring an 0870 number off an orange pay monthly mobile.

0800 and 0500 numbers are absolutely free on orange and 0870 as well as 0845 (i.e. local and national rate numbers) are charged at 10p a minute and are NOT included in free minutes. hope that helps.

The cost varies from one tariff to another, even amongst the pay monthlies. I have L1 OVP Virgin & L2 ED50. L1 I think 0870 is at standard rate. Line 2 (off peak) it comes out of the inclusive minutes. WIth the newer tariffs, I think 0870 does not come out of inclusive minutes.
0800 and 0500 are not always absolutely free - some Calling Card numbers tracked by Orange will be charged at standard rate - but you should be warned before the call connects. Freephone rules again vary from one tariff to another. L1 for me they are all chargeable, L2 they are free. Info should be available on the Orange website. |
