I guess this is mainly for the Larkabouts to read, but I thought I'd post about it in a new thread just in case anyone other than the Larkabouts and the Franfans were interested! If anyone's been having a nosey into the Sarah Lark Appreciation Thread they'll know that when I was in London these past few days I met the amaaaazing Sarah 
Obviously I'm still buzzing with excitement about the whole thing but I'll try and be coherent! Lol!
On Monday morning my friends and I were waiting in the queue at TKTS Leicester Square when I got a text from Julie (ImOnlyWee) telling me to check my facebook messages, so I was thinking maybe Sarah had announced a role or something and I got excited! I borrowed my friends phone to check Facebook; The message I had, however, was from Sarah's, telling me that he'd heard I was in London and that my support for Sarah had been amazing and that he was going to try and sort something out for me! (At this point I had a mild heart attack! Haha!) So over the next couple of days we organised that Sarah would come and meet my friends and me after we'd been to see The Lord of The Rings on Tuesday night!
I was absolutely gobsmacked- and SO greatful! I mean, Sarah didn't even have to acknowledge the fact I was in London, let alone organise to come and meet me! The support I, and I'm sure all the other Larkabouts, give Sarah is because we genuinely believe she's an amazing talent and that she deserves all the support in the world. To have her acknowledge that support is so amazing! I was, and still am, SO ecstatic about the whole thing! (A big thank you to Julie!)
So after LOTR (which was amaaaaazing!) we made our way to the front of the theatre and I was really really really nervous, looking around to see if I could spot her! Then I saw her crossing the street with her friend! She is seriously one of the most genuinely lovely people I've ever met! And she gives really good hugs! Haha! She is really petite though! My friend Lo is only 5"1 and she said to Sarah "I'm so glad I've finally found someone who's shorter than me!" At which Sarah took off her shoes (which were gooorgeous! Lol!) and said "yeah but look!" and indicated she was wearing heels- so was my friend! Haha! She's really pretty too! And, I can't say it enough, so genuine!
We spoke about LOTR and Avenue Q (which I had seen on Monday night!), she told me she had been to see it last week and that Daniel Boys had been poorly, and we spoke about what an amazing show it was! I really wanted to tell her she'd make an amazing Kate Monster, but I was too scared.
Haha! Then I asked her if she had anything lined up for the future, she said she was doing a workshop next week. She also said she had been out with all of the Nancies last week and that only three out of the final twelve knew what they were doing next. Then we moved onto talking about why I was in London (celebrating exam results) and how long we were there for and stuff, and Sarah said she loved Edinburgh! And she was really funny talking about how she'd never been in a place where she could eat so many deep fried foods (she loves deep fried drifter bars! Lol!) She also said she'd "hopefully be back up in Edinburgh this year" but it wasn't certain yet (so I'm hoping the rumour that she's being considered to be cast as Carrie in Carousel could be true... *hopehopehope* )
Also, she LOVES the teapot we sent her! She said she uses it instead of "thee teapot" and that she loves it when people look at her teapots and ask why that one has her name on it! Heehee! And she ate the chocolate in no time at all, apparently! Lol! Aaand, I asked how she knew about the name Larkabouts! She said she saw it on the website (Julie, I think she means yours!) She LOVED "Larkettes", but her friends have been called the Larkettes since she started out so they said we couldn't be called that! Haha! So she chose Larkabouts because she does "like to lark about a bit"! AAAND, she mentioned Paul Daniels! Hahaha! He'd been to see a show the night after she'd been! And she loved the picture of him in the card (I was trying so hard not to laugh at that point that I couldn't think of anything to say in reply so I think I said something stupid like "Ooh, ohmygod!" haha, *moron*
We also spoke a bit about 'I'd Do Anything' and how, after they were chosen to be the final 12, they weren't allowed to tell anyone bar their immediate relatives where they were! For two weeks before the first audition show aired they were in the Nancy House and she missed things like friends birthdays and stuff. She said she had to keep telling people she was really tired and everyone thought she was being a let down (until they saw IDA, obviously!!) She also said her dream role has always been Nancy, which was weird when the IDA auditions came along, but she's also really love to play Florence in Chess! And she thinks Kerry Ellis was better than Idina Menzel in Chess... lol!

I can honestly say she is such a lovely person to go through all that bother just to acknowledge my support of her during and after IDA. I'd have been ecstatic with a comment on Facebook that said "thanks for the support", but for her to actually come and meet me... She's a legend And she really appreciates everyone's support.
