Was anyone else planning to attend Wild in the Country this weekend? I'm sooooooooooo annoyed its cancelled, we were so looking forward to it!

Yeah I was, gutted as well. I was gagging for some Pendulum action.
My mate who got the tickets has got his refund already though. Going to Wireless instead, not an all-nighter but Underworld will rock the place. |

The entire thing is cancelled?
I was going to go then Björk pulled out so I decided not to buy a ticket. Glad I never now, like! I just read the reason why, and it's poor ticket sales and investors pulling out. |

I just looked further into this, and apparently the organisers were calling around asking for the acts to play for a lot less than they were offered. Ticket sales were poor and "key investors" pulled out.
Björk is ill at the moment, so I am not sure whether the rumours of her pulling out because they couldn't meet her stage needs was true or not. Sucks, though. People were flying from across the world to come to this. Since it's only 2 days before the festival was meant to go ahead they can't cancel flights and such. |
