Great idea for all soaps
Ditch the lazy writers and the executive producer.
Keep the scriptwriters, directers etc Let the actors and actresses come up with their own stories. There would also be an increased budget without writers and a producer to pay. It would result in better morale, improved continuity, (some writers forget details about charactors and the actor is too scared to say anything incase of a fallout) All it would take is a monthly meeting between the actors and the completed report presented to scriptwriters to work on. |

Nah it wouldn't happen, true, but it surely would be interesting to see what ideas people would come up with... and the fights for the biggest storylines would be funny during the meetings
