Will there be a series 6 of bad girls?

I think so. But there will be no more Yvonne, Denney etc, so that only leaves Jim, Sylvia, and the two Julies from Series One. If there is a 6th series i suspect that Julie S will die.
www.badgirlsonline.co.uk this site seems to be pretty good with it's info. From what I have heard there is going to be a season six but that may well be the last. There have been some rumours including Denise Walsh coming in as the new number one.
I'm hoping that we do find out what happens to Yvonne, I found last nights episode quite disturbing to be honest. I'm still hanging on to the hope that she will be found when the other girl tries to get out, or if her girlfriend checks the coast is clear. IMHO Fenner is an excellent character one made of pure evil, none of this softer side most baddies seem to develop over time.
The only fault I can find from last nights episode is Denny leaving to go to an open prison. I understand that she had to leave, but how the hell can a prisoner that has made no less than 3 escape attempts in the past 4 years including one sucessful one is allowed to g to an open prison. But then we have to remember this is the show that had Karen and Yvonne sat in the pub chatting over a glass of whisky.

I really hope there is a season 6 but at the end of series 4 they showed a preview into series 5, however this time they did not. 
Last night's ending was not a good way to end it all.

I have definalty seen talk about it. Jack Ellis has talked of staying and there have been many rumours about new emembers of staff. It's still a huge audience puller and there are still a few more paths down which the script writers can run.
Personally this year U thin kthe scrip writers have been trying to get back to the old gritty style rather than the humour slant. Shed if you are ready this - More Please!!

Poor Yvonne...I almost felt like crying last night. God, am I sad? But she was SUCH a great character, that was a horrible way to go, if indeed she does go. It's not looking good for her surviving, but there's still a chance. Maybe Colin will rescue her, or failing that, Selena and/or Kris might find her...but even then they could miss her!
What I'd like to know is how the hell he managed to trap her like that anyway. It just seems unlikely if you ask me. And how much MORE stuff can he get away with? I'm all for evil characters, but I'm sorry this has been dragged on a BIT far.

She can't die, Selena or Kris must find her- she's a big character.
Somehow I find it hard to believe that all the claims by Karen Betts were ignored though, before she was dragged away by the police. Any ideas what will happen to her? It would be great if she ended up behind bars - Fenner would get her then.

I heard Denise Welch is coming into the series as the govener. I hope that new officer goes down to check the escape route is still okay after Yvonne used it and she finds Yvonne just in the nick of time.

I can't see anyone who is pleased about the thought of her dying. It could potentially kill the show, she's the best thing in it. I'm guessing that if she dies, Linda Henry wanted to leave and chose the death exit, because I doubt they'd sack her.

I noticed an idea somebody said on the Bad Girls message board, wouldn't it be fabulous if a few episodes into series 6, someone went down there, eventually opened the door...and there was no body. So she'd have to have got out and we're left wondering how or who let her.
Then in the final episode to series 6, Jim gets his comeuppance...and Yvonne is there to see it.

Yeh i want that fenner gone now, he's done his bit and been an arsehole in the process. What happened to shell dockley i missed about 7 episodes.
Shell got carted off to the "funny farm", as it were, and had her baby taken away from her...all because she refused to give Colin some, err, "relief" so to speak. So Fenner made up that she was trying to harm her baby and Colin agreed, to save his skin as usual, and she's been out ever since. Hopefully back next series....
Yvonne has to come back, i mean she is the top dog! The ulitmate Bad Girl! Imagine what it would be like betwen her and Fenner if someone actually found her alive down there and brought her back to G-Wing! Yvonne Needs to be there to see Fenner finally get his comeuppance!
