Today will be an interesting day for sure. Will they carry on as they left off or will she shun him

Well....

After I switched off the computer last night, I was 100% certain that Sara was going to be evicted. The thought that she was going so survive over 3rd favourite, Lisa (who was painted as hilarious bonkers for ages now) was ludricious. I sat down miserable and watched Davina climb the steps and begin to talk to the House. I think my heart skipped a beat when they announced Lisa's name. It didn't even sink in to me. I was like "what? OMG!", I was so happy. I'm very pleased that Sara survived, and i'm estatic that Lisa got her name chanted and got a massive cheer when she left. The fact that Sara was the only HM to get all cheers when the phone lines opened again just boosted my happiness into overdrive.

Now, I don't know what went on last night. Apparently she's did something wrong and has blown her chances of winning right out the window. Hopefully not too much of this will be shown. The producers of the show obviously heard the boos that all the other HM's got, and hopefully they won't give Sara a bad edit. She still has a chance, however she needs to keep her head down and distance herself from Darnell. I'm certain Mohammed will be evicted on Tuesday, but we need to vote lots for Sara incase she is evicted with him. I hope Lisa's fans will support Sara as well.

01.11: Back in the bath, Sara is sitting astride Darnell. This can only end in tears.


01.07: Mo is providing a running commentary of bathtime with Sara and Darnell.

"She's rubbing his bald head," he says.

01.05: Wise Mikey makes an observation about Sara and Darnell. "It will end up in disaster tomorrow or the next day."

00.56: Sara and Darnell are out of the pool and running the bath. Mo is in stitches, he's looked at Darnell's swimmers and noticed that he is rather, erm, excited.

"Oh, bless him," Rachel says.

00.48: Sara is now holding Darnell's face in her hands and their faces are very close.

If I didn't know better, I'd think she was going to kiss him.

00.43: Darnell is blowing raspberries on Sara's stomach. Kat comments on how romantic it all is.

That's one word for it. Gross is another.

00.39: Sara now has Darnell up against the edge of the pool. She is all over him.

00.37: Sara follows through on her promise to jump in the pool. Not sure if she should be swimming in her drunken state.

She gets in fully clothed, and Darnell jumps in after her.

They start hugging, and Sara straddles him.

I smell trouble...

00.27: Rex points out that Darnell is falling for Sara all over again, and that Sara is sucking him in.

"She is basically giving him the impression that she likes him too, but it's not like that," he says.

"Darnell gets carried away with that." Meanwhile the camera conveniently pans outside, where Sara is practically sitting on top of Darnell.



00.10: Drunk Sara is flirting with Darnell, again. This could get interesting.

Oh no. Hopefully it won't all get shown, but I have a feeling it will. Still, being shown alot on the HL's is certainly an advantage, especially when it's vote to save. If you were barely shown then people wouldn't vote. I just hope it's Mo and Kat that go on Tuesday...

Sara is third favourite to win with Betfair, and is leading the majority of the online "who do you want to win?" polls.

Things get steamy between Darnell and Sara...

In the early hours of today things got pretty steamy between Darnell and Sara, who took a late-night dip in the pool.

Darnell swam around carrying a tipsy-looking Sara, who had her arms wrapped tightly around his neck. At one point Darnell put his head into the water to blow raspberries on Sara's stomach, making her shriek like a girl being chased in the playground.

"So romantic!" observed Kathreya from the Garden.

Big Brother wasn't feeling quite so sentimental. "This is Big Brother. Housemates are reminded to keep the noise down. If they don't, they will be removed from the Garden."

"Bad, bad boy!" Sara whispered breathily to a delighted Darnell. "Bad, bad boy! You've got to keep the noise down!"

There was then an intense moment when the pair held hands and looked deeply into each other's eyes, before stroking each other's faces meaningfully, with Sara murmuring, "Naughty boy..."

Half an hour later they were hopping into the bath together for more of the same.

To recap the last few weeks: Sara flirted with Darnell. Darnell was smitten with Sara. Darnell realised Sara just wanted to be friends. Darnell was angry with Sara. And now the pair are canoodling in the pool again. We can't keep up!

Bah, that sounds awful to Sara's chances.

Hopefully it won't be shown. Most video's that appear on the main site never make the main show, trust me. And the video shows Darnell following Sara around, IMO. I'm not defending Sara here (although, to be fair, she is pissed) but Darnell is the one who kept getting close to her and touching her and putting her against the pool edge. I think Sara was just having a laugh but Darnell thinks there's something between them.

It all depends how they interact over the coming days, as to whether it's going to affect her chances of winning.

Remember it's vote to save. If it was vote to evict then Sara would be toast, but in a vote to save she's got a good a chance as everyone else. People might be angry at her for what happened, but what can her haters do? They can't vote her out.

Just keep voting for Sara!

But the people who dont like her behaviour will transfer their votes elsewhere.

You can tell she is very drunk in that video, she is all over the place. Hopefully that will work more in Sara's favour. However I was watching the repeat of last nights eviction and Sara was trying to make an effort to be friends again with Darnell so it's not as if she suddenly decided to jump in the pool with him.

True. I think her most loyal fans will accept that she was drunk and that she was only playing around with Darnell, but i'm not sure about the casual fans who just watch the Highlights and nothing else.

But, she will have gained mass votes last night
before the pool incident and will continue to gain alot of votes from those who don't watch the LF. At this moment in time she is probably still one of the housemates with the largest amount of votes to save. It is just if tonights HL's work in Sara's favour or not which may/may not happen.

Sara: She asked me how I felt about the public saving me last night. Talked about how everyone in the house are happy and they don't care about who wins, just happy to be there.
Asked her about Darnell, Sara told BB that she is so happy that they are friends again, that all she wanted and she is pleased.

So no sign of her saying she has 'feelings for him'

This time next week Sara will definately be off our screens. I'm gonna miss her.

Have you been voting? I need to keep checking with everyone because i'm a nervous wreck, lol. Sara is leading the majority of the online polls, and assuming that those who vote in the polls also vote (or multi vote) for Sara, combined with us on Digital Spy, the casual public who like her and Sara's friends and family....we could do this!

It seems (and I hope it's true) that things didn't go too badly wrong last night, and in a way all that's happened is that Sara and Darnell are back to the sort of relationship they before, hopefully with less misunderstanding. (One worrying sign was Darnell asking her, at one point, if she was on a secret task, but they should have gotten past that by now.)

I think Sara's sudden rise to 2nd favourite in some odds last night was more a reflection of punters wanting to get in bets at good odds (and bookmakers closing that window of opportunity) than a sign of what her chances realistically were at that point. The odds she has now look more realistic.

So while her relationship with Darnell still carries great potential for disaster, disaster does not seem to have struck quite yet.

I wish one of the other HMs (or BB) would take her aside and give her more insight into what happens when she drinks,
but that's probably not going to happen.


It's ridiculous, I agree, but it's how much of our culture still seems to work. That's why - for example - there are phrases such as "she knew what she was doing" (it's almost always "she"), which seems to mean "she knew that she was doing what I'm accusing her of doing".


Hi, cherry o. I've taken part of your post as the title for a blog entry, It's not easy supporting female housemates, that's for sure, I'd been meaning to write for a while, collecting some things about why female housemates tend to do poorly in BB. I hope you don't mind.

It's war out there. I've never seen so much evidence of what a creepy rape-culture-propagating machine Big Brother can be. Anti-Sara posters are now trying to use her flirting with Darnell as some sort of "back-up" or ammunition with which to support their claims that "she's a manipulative slag" (or what have you).

I made a thread about it earlier - Darnell very much seems to be the innocent or overlooked party in all this. All the conflict seems to be about whether or not Sara's behaviour was wrong - almost nothing on whether or not Darnell was wrong. He's getting the "poor innocent male" treatment again - I bet if he explodes with abuse again people will use the "she was asking for it" defence, even though Darnell is as much to blame for getting involved again as she is...
