Well done Rachel! Think I might make a trip to London to go see her this summer now...

I became very aquainted with characters in this show last year, and while I know that there is more then one way to play a character I know what playing the part of Meat requires. Rachel just isn't someone who I see playing Meat.

I really hope I am proved wrong though.

As JB said on I'd Do Anything, Rachel has the talent to play any role. Have faith in our girl. I'm confident she will not only be fantastic but the best 'Meat' the show has ever had; or ever will have for that matter.

It'll take a lot to top Kerry Ellis, but I have no doubt Rachel will be fantastic!

I agree with you Laur sure Rachel will do great but my heart will always lie with Kerry Ellis in that role especially having seen one of her last performances of the role

It's tough for anybody to fill Kerry Ellis' shoes but I'm sure she will be great! And Kerry said Rachel was one of her favourites in an interview so that's nice too

Yeah I have to agree, I can't see her topping Kerry Ellis, but hopefully she'll do this well. I may go seeit. Depends on Galileo really, the one they have now is a bit lush!

The current Galileo, Ricardo Afonso, will be sharing the role with Jon Boydon after the cast change. Or so i've heard. RA will be doing 6 shows and JB the other 2.
