Is anyone else having a nightmare with three
My nec e606 cuts out in the middle of conversations, and fails to connect calls even in 5 bar areas.
I tried to contact three and after waiting over 1/2 hour to get through i was told this is a fact of life on the network for the foreseeable future. i'm thinking of cancelling my DD and telling them to stick it, is anyone else having a 'mare with three |

Does this happen in a "3" video service area or just the voice service areas or both?
I don't have any experience of this problem because I'm not on 3 but I am considering moving but might leave it now until they have these kind of problems ironed out. |

Careful. If you cancel your direct debit you are still under contract and will have to pay the bills even if you don't use the phone.
Take the phone back to the shop where you bought it and exchange it under the one year guarantee. this definately sounds like a faulty phone or simcard rather than the network. |

it happens in all service areas, i tried to tell them this but you get through to a call centre somewhere in asia and the service isn't too good, even after you've been waiting for over half an hour
I think if they cannot provide a service that can be used properly i have every right to cancel the contact, the contract has been frustrated by their poor network. i was told by three that a lot of it was due to network congestion and is not the handset |

I am getting the same problems. dropped calls when 5 bars are shown on the display. Problems dialing when in 3's Video service area. A service one minute then nothing the next... it just vanishes!
As for the data services.... a bigger lucky bag! Its not much better than GPRS in terms of Information setting aside the novelty value of the video downloads which soon wears off! I have reverted back to my T-68i on 02/GPRS/PAYG for news etc when out & about as it is free! To cap it all the customer service is appalling with waits of up to 30 minutes (that eat into your call allowance) not uncommon. 3 have got it far from right at the moment and the danger is that if they dont fix the problems then lots of folk will be demading their contract cancelled. I spoke to someone who works for a National mobile phone shop the other day and they were telling me that the return rate within the 14 day cancellation period is very high especially by women. Hopefully things will get better and I'll get some more use from my e-606 otherwise it will be goodbye to 3 in 2004 (or before maybe), cheaper calls are useless if the network cant handle them! |
