Sharp aquos lc-37x20e
Using BTVision there is an Aspect option 4:3/16:9/720/1080 and you select the option according to your TV.
My TV is 1080 but this is not available when I select it and the best I can obtain is 16:9. The option states that if I select anything my TV is not designed to run I will see only a black screen (which I do } so I am a bit concerned, When I use 16:9 and view Digital Freeview I am informed that I am getting 576. Could any of this be due to a poor Freeview signal? vic |

no nothing wrong
you need 720/1080 signal for them to work e.g. DVD upscaler or sky HD hopefully you have HDMI connection as well to connect such devices keep your telly on 16.9 and tell your freeview box you have a 16.9 telly if its not built in |

bt vision has a HDMI output so use that to get 720 or 1080
then you will get best picture for your telly http://bt.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/bt.cf..._cats=348,1279 |
