Not necessarily, try lookig at what eBuyer have to offer. It very much depends on how much functionality you want. You get what you pay for, so if your services are provided by STBs, then you probably don't need a freeview receiver, for instance.
I bought one for £280 a few weeks ago, great 1920 x 1080P picture from HDDVD player, using a nice quality panel. No frills though. |

AOC @ £280 +delivery:
http://www.intekx.com/product_info.p...roducts_id=270 Not digital (I think there's a mistake in their specs, I've queried it with Intekx), you'd need a set-top box for Freeview channels. I got my friend one (not this exact model) from this company at least a year ago, he's very pleased. This is AOC's own specs: http://www.aoc-europe.com/wEn/televi...7/L32W751A.php It comes with 2-year manufacturer's warranty. AOC are a European company well know for their monitors on the continent, I'm using a very old AOC TFT now which was a hand-me-down, it's fine ![]() parthena |

I emailed Intekx over the weekend (whilst checking out the TVs for you) cos there was an error in their info and a link was wrong - they replied within hours and corrected both items.
It was the same last year when looking for a TV for my friend, their responses are much better than many other companies'. However, one must bear in mind that this is all PRE-sales, and although that's very positive it is the POST-sales that really counts I've no experience of that. They were doing free shipping last time I looked.BTW, I will not hear a word against Vestel, despite their shortcomings - I wub them cos of their PVRs. parthena

Try Novatech
They are advertsing a 32" at £289.99 I have seen their TVs in the showroom and they look okay. The web address is www. novatech .co.uk For some reason if I paste a link or even put the URL without spaces it becomes www.**************** Not sure of the delivery cost north of the border |

Flipping Novatech, grrr! I bought a DVD/HDD player from their eBay site and they sent me a different brand from the one listed. Reluctantly I accepted a £10 refund, given the hassle and cost of returning, but when I went to use the darn thing the DVD tray was faulty. It's sitting in the top of a wardrobe whilst I try to think of a use for the hard drive - if that works.
Hmmm, somewhat off topic, sorry ![]() parthena |
