N95 and Sat Nav voice directions

Hi, i've got another basic question about my new phone (N95 Black).

I was playing with the sat nav option last week and just about worked out how to use the navigation option. I set a destination and planned a route. It then started up the route guide and gave me voice directions.

So, i was playing with it again this evening but when i tried to start up the navigation again it told me that i had to pay extra for the voice guide. I'm a bit confused as i was using it fine for the last few days and it's suddenly told me that I have to pay for the option.

Questions, 1 - why was i able to use it up till today but now been asked to pay. 2 - If i do have to pay from now on is there any way of downloading a free version to my phone.

Cheers.

You were given a trial. It's not a free service.

Are you sure you were navigating or was it just a route simulation because i think that option is free. Otherwise i agree that is was probably just a free trial.

There are a couple of free apps i know of that you can use but require constant downloads so you'd really need an unlimited internet add on. They are nav4all and amAze.

You can get a free version from www.nav4all.com - it's not as good as a normal mapped system but it's fairly useful.

Does this provide voice directions?

I guessed it was a free trail but it never said so. I already have the unlimited internet bundle thing so that's not a problem.

Yes, you can have either normal voice directions or 'fun' ones.
