Hmm, what about the Doctor's mother? She gave birth to him (I assume). She must be pretty important. No hanky panky, no Doctor.

I thought CT was excellent, and I'll miss the dynamic she brought to the show. She showed she could act and I hope she'll get another challenging opportunity in future.

Unfortunately she didn't want to move to Cardiff, so one series was all we got. But that ongoing change is one of the elements of Dr Who that makes each series different.

Ah, but we didn't have any where Jenny was involved...! (Sticking strictly with the series rather than events outside it!)

I will miss her something rotten . She has been the highlight for me of all 4 seasons of new Who and the next companion will have to be something special to even make a dent in the impression Donna has left. CT was fantastic

I'll be honest and say she was better than I was expecting but I am still very pleased she's gone. I didn't like her before and I still don't.

Freema is still a better actress, or it could be I just find Catherine Tate annoying.


She's also a comedian first and foremost.

Tosh, Freema only has one acting style, that of wood.

I didn't expect much from CT, but she has been excellent. Completely believable and her own person as a companion, and it was a relief not to have yet another girl falling for The Doctor. The only one entitled to do that was Rose.
