im sorry if this has already been covered but in journeys end dalek caan turned against the daleks but why im sure he said but i just didnt catch it
and secondly the doctor was talking to donna about them to meting with her parking her car where the TARDIS would land and saying it was like someone was manipulating them originally i thought that would be dalek caan but then he said that he just helped so does that mean that this could be an arc for one of or all the specials next year. AND the doctor said that them meeting wasnt destiny because there was no such thing

Actually, I agree with you there. What is still unresolved is the issue that Donna was born special, and is clearly capable of channeling "Huron (don't know about the spelling) energy". Was Donna's specialness not one of the reasons why she was chosen as the Bride in the xmas special. I don't think they explained that, and I'm hoping that one of the specials might deal with that.

The whole Bad Wolf thing existed because of the events in the finale of Season 1, in the same way that Dalek Caan caused the events in Donna's life to lead up to this point.

Dalek Caan had always believed in the good of the Dalek Empire, but once he had a chance to see all of time, he realised they'd actually been a bunch of Nazi-like killers. It was at that point that he decided to go time-meddling, in order to be sure that things would lead to a point in time at which DoctorDonna would defeat the Daleks once and for all..

Yep but Dalek Caan said that that event would have happened anyway, that he just helped it along. My original question remains (which is not so simply answered), why was Donna special from birth (no reason for this, she could just have been special from the bride event onwards). And when did Caan's time meddling happen? Are you saying that he still had the ability to manipulate time when he was in the vault, or that he decided to do all of this when he went through the time vortex (before he rescued Davros). Why not just leave Davros in the time war? That would have been the logical thing to do.

The Cult of Skaro were created to have emotion, to make them efficient tacticians. When Caan went into the time war he saw the attrocities that the Daleks commited and he betrayed his own people.

Regarding Donna and the Doctor i just think it will come down to fate, and will never be explanined.. or maybe the timelords still exist and manipulate events.. but the Doctor cant sense them.

Donna is special because she is the one that basically saves the universe thanks to her touching the hand in the jar and taking on the Doctor´s memories. Then she able to stop the Daleks and free the others. Had this not happened the Daleks would have been free to destroy everything (the stars going out, the darkness)

This is why Rose says in Turn Left that reality seems to be fluctuating around her or something along those lines
