I thought the Doctor/Donna's attack on Davros and the Daleks was great! I like the way RTD decided to go for something upbeat and fun to destroy the Daleks with this time.

The look on Catherine Tates face was perfect, and the way the Daleks lost their power and started getting rolled around reminded me strongly of the "Daleks invasion of Earth". I just loved how Jack kicked one away to the side.

Catherine and David both did great impressions of each other, and no matter what else was going on, this double act, at heart, is a fun one. So it was nice to see them share a lighthearted scene or two before the heartbreak kicked in. And i never thought we'd hear Donna's theme in this episode - how wrong i was!

It reminded me of the only Old Who episode I've ever seen - don't know what it's called, but the Daleks were sparring with the Thals and the Thals defeated them with some rope. The Doctor and companions escaped by slapping their food on their eye socket thingy and then wheeling the now-emptied Dalek around with one of them in it. Fun times

Also agree - CT and DT's impressions of each other's characters was class, loved the space man/earth girl comments

Yes I did enjoy the humour that was there when 'doctor donna' was destroying the daleks and the sight of the dalek spinning around uncontrollably had me smiling no end

Loved it-David and Catherine were brilliant

Also loved Davros pathetic " It wasn't me it was Dalek Caan" to the Red leader - like some pathetic loser looking to lay the blame elsewhere.

Wow! I'm suprised people liked this. I thought everyone would hate it. I'm glad i'm not in the minority, like i am in the Love and Monsters fanbase minority!

No your not alone...I loved it too...the two have such great timing and chemistry, I was laughing my head off..., and the Daleks being weeled around also reminded me of old Who, but at least in this sense in made more sense because the Daleks were made powerless before being kicked around....in the past they would do similar things to Daleks while they still had the ability to exterminate you in a second, and yet people say that New Who takes things lightly making a joke of things, and Classic who does everything seriously...anyway going off topic
