msn on o2?

Does anyone know if o2 will allow you to use msn messenger on your phone if you have their £7.50 internet bolt-on with your contract?

Yes you can use MSN or Windows Live Messenger on your mobile with the o2 web bolt on. I have this bolt on at the moment and use MSN frequently as well as Opera Mini or Pocket Internet Explorer.

However, I've been advised by o2 that I'm not to connect phone to laptop to use as a modem for full and proper internet access. Also, if you were thinking of running Skype or an alternative VoIP application on your mobile, although this should be allowed, they may decide that its against their terms and conditions as most things like this would be.

Though I think you should be allowed to use your "unlimited" 200mb allowance as you like.
