Watching second time around

Yesterday I was very disappointed with the end but after having some context from viewing Confidential and then watching the episode again I have changed my mind.

It didnt have the wow factor I expected but if you were disappointed I really advise you watch the episode again.

So much was going on it was easy to get lost in the mayhem and rushed feel of it all.

So I have a different opinion today after watching it in a more informed style.

I thought the same as you and watched it again thinking perhaps I might see it in a different light. alas not.

Really? Did you watch Confidential? Its almost like the episode needed its own companion episode to give it some context and depth.

It was good to watch it again informed as to why they made the decisions they did.

I know what you mean, it is easy to get caught up with things sometimes...personally I did enjoy it on the first watch...had me at the edge of my seat...but the whole Rose and bad wolf bay scene hadn't pulled off well straight away...as I was feeling annoyed at how Rose could just settle for a double...as I kept repeating at the time...and annoying the hell out of my sister..."but thats not the Doctor!", so I wasn't feeling very tearful at that scene, compared to the bucket loads I cried for Donna's end...however watching again I realised how heartbreaking that beach scene was...The Doctor was taking her the parallel universe because he wanted to put a stop to the possible future pain of having her back only to lose her agian...and also to give her a part of him, who could give her exactly what she wanted from him but what he could never have the guts to give...and the kiss which I was annoyed at first with...thinking how could she...on second view made me realise that it was a way for her to see if she did feel anything for this Doctor, but the fact that she pulled away quickly as the Tardis was fading away...made me feel that she still didn't have want she actually wanted...and the look on the Doctor's face when Rose kissed the other Doctor was also very heartbreaking...so I cried this time round
