Good news - we won't be getting beaten tonight. The match is off due to a waterlogged pitch at Loftus Road.

things are getting more ridiculous again... Quote:
Crystal Palace have had a second transfer embargo placed on them.
The Championship side have been barred from making any new signings over unpaid money to Ipswich relating to Alan Lee's move earlier this summer. Palace were forced to serve a similar ban last month over outstanding wages and bonuses to ex-players. Eagles boss Neil Warnock is confident the transfer restrictions will be lifted soon so he can bolster his squad in the loan market. "I'm aware of the situation and we will get around it," Warnock told the South London Press. "I'm sure it will be lifted in the next couple of weeks and it's just a case of getting on with it - but I'm still very positive." |

As much as I admire Jordan for what he has done in the past its becoming pretty obvious his heart just isnt in it anymore. Im not sure where we go from here now, its not exactly the best time to be selling afterall.
Hopefully with our sponsorship ties to the middle east some rich Arab will decide we are worth a punt. |

I agree with you Oblivian about Jordan. He has stated in the past that he would only sell to the right person/s knowing that the future security of the club is in safe-hands. I admire him for that. I just hope he can find them soon - for his sake and for the clubs!

Great game in the second half.
Not exactly a lot of quality, but we never stopped running. Speroni made a couple of brilliant saves towards the end! Also great to see Ertl get a game - I love that guy.

I'm just glad we got the win. Didn't matter how it came, it will do the lads a load of good and hopefully the Scunthorpe debacle is well & truly out of their system now, especially as we have a run of tricky games coming up.

another one being shown the door... Quote:
Crystal Palace defender Matt Lawrence has been placed on the transfer list by manager Neil Warnock.
The 34-year-old centre-back has made three appearances for the Eagles so far this season, including last weekend's 4-0 drubbing at the hands of Scunthorpe, and has been told his future lies elsewhere. "We feel it is time for Matt to have a change of scene so we have put his name on the transfer list," said Warnock. "Matt and I had a chat in the week and we agreed he should be playing every week, which is something we will not be able to offer him at Crystal Palace." The veteran defender has made 119 appearances for the Selhurst Park outfit but is now deemed surplus to requirements. |

Never really been a fan of Lawrence TBH so I'm not too bothered by his imminent departure... although I am surprised we still seem to be culling players!

That's a really great win for us. Away from home to one of the best teams in the division and we kept a clean sheet. That should do the boys the world of good. Great stuff!

![]() Hey, who thinks Hull are going to win an FA Cup semi final 20 years after we did? I don't feel too bad about our Newcastle result seeing as they're taking Ipswich apart. |

Great win!
![]() Moses destroyed them down the wing, it's so great to watch him when he's on form. Also credit to Warnock - was surprised to see the changes today, but he clearly got everything right. |

Palace v Sheff Wed at Selhurst tonight:
Early team news - Palace are likely to be without Freddie Sears once again. On-loan West Ham striker Sears has missed Palace's last two games with an ankle injury. Centre-half Claude Davis recovered from a hamstring injury to make the bench at The Hawthorns for the first time since he rejoined on a permanent basis from Derby and he will push to make his second Palace debut. Frontmen Stern John (elbow) and Calvin Andrew (knee) remain on the sidelines. |

Two teams crap at attacking, lumping the ball around for 90 minutes.
Very boring. |
