For the second year in a row im pleased to say I owe the management at Palace an apology.
I was sure last year Paul Hart wouldnt have a prayer and this year as much as I love Dougie I was in no doubt after the Swansea game we were going down.
Fair play to him and the lads, they have shown real grit in the last few months, the record at home in since Christmas or so is fantastic.
So relieved its not going down to the last game.
yeah, hats off to dougie & lennie... it hasn't been easy and our tactics at times, especially away, have left alot to be desired but it was all about survival when they took over and we have achieved that now...
if we get that away form sorted for next season and with our home form being so strong we should be looking at the top half of the table for a change...
I think it has been etched in stone now that whether as a player or manager, Dougie Freedman has been instrumental in saving Palace from Championship relegation. What a legend.
obviously very pleased with the point today, just a pity we didn't
get that 2nd away win. credit to the lads for not giving up
also credit to Barnsley for not rolling over at Bramell Lane..
looking forward to reigniting the rivalry with Brighton again next
season and taking 6 points off of them!

One year ago today I had my first drink in Sheffield after the bus ride back into town from the epic 2-2 at Hillsborough. I watched the game again this morning.
think austin got the boot as him & dougie never really got on... there were rumours of a bust-up between the pair, plus he was burleys appointment in the first place...
talking of dougie, this is a great article to read concerning his plans for our future>>> link
