I agree with you Oblivian about Jordan. He has stated in the past that he would only sell to the right person/s knowing that the future security of the club is in safe-hands. I admire him for that. I just hope he can find them soon - for his sake and for the clubs!
Not true, Jordan is actually looking for ANY buyer as of current. But he is encountering some problems, as he is a stubborn man he is asking a phenomenal price near to £100mil despite only investing £30+million. Also ontop of this he does not own the old delapidated ground, HBOS joint owns it and when Lloyds went into the red last year the property was mortgaged making a potential new chairman a very difficult and expensive perspective.

Jordan's a shrewd man, he wants to come out of this smelling of roses and with finance... he is broke and the personel at the ground know this. Selling a player for 8 million pounds (AJ) and not rejuvinating the money to the club. Need we be reminded some parts of the stadium are delapidated and well over 50 years old, the training ground is not much better than a field in a crap area.

Obviously Jordan's looking for any buyer, but whether he would actually sell to someone who he didn't trust with the club is another matter (one which only he knows).

As for the ground, would you spend much money on a place you didn't own?

All the stories this week have been pretty negative (no money, crap football, potential eviction..), let's hope we put this behind us with a good performance against Blackpool tomorrow.

I've got a good feeling we'll get a win and maybe even a goal in the first half!

Oh and there's a Michael Jackson tribute act to look forward too....

4-1 the final score!

Isn't that four unbeaten in the league now since that Scunthorpe fiasco?

Bit more fun than Tuesday!

We worked hard. They had most of the ball, but we actually took our chances for once.

3 of the goals came from crosses too! More of that please.

So impressed with the fight back since "that" result a few weeks ago. Would of just loved to have heard what Warnock said after that game to make them play like this.
Half of me is glad for the international break now because its means we will get some players fit BUT the other half is gutted because we have built up a good head of steam.
Just shows what you can achieve when you keep your best players I guess.

Latest news... and another one being shown the exit door...

Palace manager Neil Warnock has confirmed the club will listen to offers for out-of-favour midfielder Nick Carle in the New Year.

The Australia international was a regular in his first season following a £1million move from Bristol City, but his appearances have been limited so far in the new campaign.

The 27-year-old has made just four Championship appearances off the bench this season and Warnock concedes it would be better for him if he secures regular football elsewhere.

With next summer's World Cup finals on the horizon, Warnock thinks a permanent move would be in Carle's best interests, although he is not ruling out a loan move.

"Nick is on the market to sell permanently and we'd only look at loans at the end of January," said the Palace boss.

"He knows he needs to be playing to get into Australia's World Cup squad and has got to be getting games after Christmas."

^ shame. i quite like him.

palace have extended Ryan Smith's contract until January to give the winger more time to impress manager Neil Warnock.

Smith joined Palace on a short-term deal in August after being released by Southampton and has so far made four substitute appearances for the club.

He has now been given the chance to stay at Selhurst Park until 25th January, with Warnock challenging the 22-year-old to break into his starting line-up.

Warnock said: "He's got to become more consistent and start creating things in the final third.

"This deal gives him a few more months to put forward his case."

Very good result today!

Typically Cardiff have come out moaning again, which is no surprise from that club.

Their allegations of 'racist' language could be slightly worrying though.

yeah, a great point on saturday.

about the after match fracas. palace have said that cardiff's claims about racial abuse is outrageous and have also issued a statement.

"Crystal Palace FC would welcome any FA inquiry into racist comments allegedly made by one of our players at Saturday's match at Cardiff City," read a club statement.

"Crystal Palace is a multi-ethnic club and is proud of its history in this respect. We take great exception at the outrageous allegations being levied at us by Cardiff City players and management.

"We would like to make it known we are 100% supportive in this matter of all of our players and definitive in our belief none of them would make any racist comments.

"As a club we are fully behind the Kick Racism Out of Football campaign, as are all of our players."

i find it difficult to believe that one of our players would have been so stupid.

Dave Jones:
“Crystal Palace have made a statement but we as a football club have said nothing. We’ve not approached anyone or said anything.

“Palace need to get their facts better. I have said nothing and the chairman has said nothing. We will leave it to the authorities.

“Palace have jumped the gun when nothing has been said. Hopedfully Palace will retract their statement.”
Cardiff:
Following the publicity that surrounded comments that were allegedly directed towards our player Michael Chopra after last Saturday's match at the Cardiff City Stadium, Cardiff City Football Club wish to draw a line under this issue and to look forward to tomorrow's match against Coventry City.

There will be no further public statement regarding this alleged incident nor any action taken by this Club or any of its employees.
Cheats and liars. Horrible club.

I think we away supporters weren't made to feel welcome by the club.

It's a bit rich, when your ticket has a seat number on it but you're told to sit anywhere you like, only to be then hassled about where you're sitting.

No complaints at all about the Cardiff general public or their home supporters, all seemed quite friendly.
