Excellent win. Played pretty well for both halves this week and it made all the difference.
Looking forward to Tuesday night, now. |

we've been very good at home for a while now.
if we could change tactics and be more positive away we will have no problems staying away from the bottom 6 this season but that is a big if. |

Scannell is awesome - really need to keep him fit.
And what a difference it makes when the midfield gets so involved in the game. Garvan was at his best today. |

decent win... scannell was brilliant as was parr... and garvan definitely had his best game wearing a palace shirt... tunchev looked decent too...
needed to press a bit more in the 2nd half but not too many negatives at all from this game... now to keep it up on tuesday night... |

Not as an important win yesterday as the 2 -0 win as 78/9 season encounter with Burnley with Dave Swindelhurst & Ian Walsh scoring the goals to give us our first taste of the top division .

CPFC2010 have announced a fifth entry for the new club crest (albeit with a possible minor tweak here & there). This was designed by Doof over at BBS. Two different colours...
Badge 5.1 Badge 5.2 I do like that one alot, however, my personal favourite is the one Kolja (also over at BBS) has put forward. I do hope CPFC2010 make this part of the vote as it's quite brilliant. Badge 6.1 Badge 6.2 |

Palace 2 Coventry 1
dominant but 1-0 down going in to injury time then Scannell & Easter win it for us. Unbelievable but listening to the game i couldn't believe how many chances we wasted. |

just posting this from the pub... i need a drink after that finish lol...
should never have been in that situation going into injury time, the game should have been well wrapped up by then... far too many chances missed, our end product wasn't good but it was great to see us not giving up and in the end we got what we deserved... mental! |

Amazing. Just amazing.
How the hell were we losing?! But I'll take it just for the feeling at the finish. Brilliant night.

Even more pleasing than the result last night was the fact we kept going and kept believing we could get something from the game when it looked more and more likely it was going to be a smash and grab from Coventry. Last season we would have lost that 1-0.
How it was 0-0 at half-time I'll never know. Coventry came for a point but we still created the chances to have put them away. Their goal was comical from our point of view, total defensive shambles. But full credit to the lads for giving their all right to the very end. Zaha was brilliant when he came on. I really like the look of Parr and if he stays fit Scannell will definitely be our star of this season. |

How many minutes added on time was there supposed to be last night ? A wins a win so can't complain , but what team will turn up at Hull on Saturday, a team with some fighting spirit or our usual loosing away team & tactics ?

Our dismal away record has to improve at some point but I have to admit I'm not holding out much hope that it will be this weekend. Quote:

We're supposed to be on the brink of signing both Anthony Gardner and Antonio Pedroza. And it looks like KG could be out for a month to add to the injury woes.
Link. |

HOL is reporting that we have signed Pedroza on a 3 year deal
but there is no official confirmation about that from the club. |
