Not the best of games overall but definitely felt we had the edge throughout. As you say Mark, your boys were a bit flat. Two great goals settled the game, the first from Zaha was top quality, the whole move was.

It's good to know that we are capable this season of winning games without playing anywhere near as good as we can.

i don't think we ever looked like losing this one... watford were poor and we did what we had to for the 3 points without ever really having to play that well... both goals were great but zaha's was brilliant... he has really found his shooting boots this season...

Woohoo, an away win, those have been in short supply these last two years. Good day out too.

Bristol City up next , we are due a victory over them since the goal that never was at Aston Gate a couple of years ago . Wonder if they will have a new manager in place by Tuesday, & we suffer the curse again ?

We've not done too well against them for a few years now, I think it's only 2 wins for us in our last 10 meetings. Hopefully we can follow up Saturday's good away win with an even better home win!

on the other hand, Bristol City have only won once at Selhurst in their last 14 visits.

if we do manage a win tomorrow night it will make it our best start to a season for 6 years!

They just couldn't handle Zaha! We could/should have done more with everything he created first half.

Even when we don't play great though, I always have the confidence we can get something right now.

Blimey, we made hard work of it! A deserved 3 points overall and like I said after Saturday's game it's really positive to see us win games without playing at our best.

20 points in the bag already and up to 5th and October isn't even over yet! I bet none of us saw that happening!

Insane! I would have been delighted with a draw today so to get all three points is just fantastic. We are just oozing with confidence right now. Dougie and Lennie are doing a tremendous job. Exciting times for us!

Was getting typically nervous towards the end, but that is a massive win!

What the hell is happening?! Long may it continue.

Beginning to feel a bit dizzy, 3rd place.

Saints on tuesday, and possibly a quarter final on the horizon.

i can only echo what's been said.
a great win and performance from the lads.
not going to get carried away, it's a great start to the season and the least we
deserve after the last 2 turbulent years.

With Palace it still might not be a nailed on deal, would love a trip to Old Trafford though.
