Damn good win for us is that. Really very pleased. Might as well give Ambrose the player of the season award now the way he is going!
Great stuff.

It wasn't a draw.

We looked like we wanted to win too.

Really good result that, Ambrose has been awesome and to think Charlton fans laughed when we signed him. If he doesnt do another thing all season he has prooved his worth already.

our recent form is pretty good overall when you look at it. in the 10 games since the scunthorpe debacle we have only lost 1 to leicester. won 4, drawn 5 of the other 9. if we can get a striker in january, one who can actually score we could really push on.

Bloody annoying that we have yet another international break. Always seems to happen when we string a few good results together.

some more news coming out about david gold and a potential takeover from this weeks croydon advertiser...

David Gold has revealed he has spoken to Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan since reports about him considering buying the club emerged.

The Advertiser exclusively revealed the former Birmingham chairman's interest in Palace last month.

And speaking on Wednesday, before addressing a Croydon Chamber of Commerce executive club lunch, he said: "Simon Jordan called me and we had a very pleasant conversation but I am taking my time before I come to any sort of decisions.

"I am interested in big clubs and I consider Crystal Palace to be a big club. It is the club closest to my home and everyone knows I don't want to go north of Watford."

11 now for Ambrose this season. Apparently that already matches his best ever haul.

that's just 1 defeat in our last 11 league games now. problem is, including today, 6 of them have been draws.

I've said it before, even though we aren't getting beat its damn frustrating that we can't turn more of these draws into wins. If we had gone on to win just 3 of those games we'd be sitting comfortably in the play-off positions right now. I really hope we can get a striker in on loan come January.

So frustrating. If we only had a decent front man things could be so different.
Thing is im not sure theres the money or the will to bring the right person in.

Talking about strikers we've taken former Woking striker Joel Ledgister on trial... although I'm betting you were all hoping for someone more high-profile!
