south london press saying that warnock is ready to listen to offers for danny butterfield, currently our longest serving player. warnock is quoted as saying ""There is a possibility we will make Danny available because of Nathaniel Clyne coming through.
I've really got to look at areas I want to improve and it may mean letting one or two players leave without damaging the squad. Danny is too good to not be playing regularly." |

i don't think Butterfield has ever been good enough for us, all he does is run up the line a little bit and then whack it as hard as he can. That isn't really the sort of quality that will help us get promoted or stay in the prem. We need a RB who can bring the ball out from defence, run down the wing and get a cross in and help out the wingers

I think he'll do alright.
He's got a got a contract to play professional football when no other club in the land would touch him with a barge pole. |

Butterfield was brilliant the year we went up. Makes sense to let him go now, what with Clyne doing so well. Quote:
He already has done.

Guess it was just me that liked Butterfield, then.
![]() Clyne is class, though, I can see him going on to have a great career. |

good to see more palace fans in here!
![]() i like butterfield, too. my only worry is our squad size for next season. i know warnock will wheel & deal in the summer but already it looks like we will have a lightweight squad and may have to rely on more kids coming through. |

Another one out the door - Goalkeeper Darryl Flahavan looks set to leave this summer in a bid to secure first-team football. Warnock has said he will listen to offers for him.

And if that wasn't enough, yet another could be on his way - According to Sky Sports, Preston are lining up a move for midfielder Neil Danns. Apparently he is among Alan Irvine's top transfer targets.

We wont let Danns go just yet, not now he's finally started to come good after the injuries.
Another friendly announced - AS Nancy at home, 2nd August. Bit more exciting than Norwich anyway.

My preference would be to have the red & blue stripes as the home kit (but as you say, Bandit, I'd like them wider) and the all-white kit with the red & blue diagonal sash (what we wore at home last season) as our away kit.

Very happy to be at home first day and Boxing Day.
Not so happy to finish away. And go away to N'castle on a Wednesday in Jan! |
