Half-Time: Scunthorpe 0-0 Palace
Not been a good first half from us. Hopefully Warnock can get them sorted for the next 45. |

we need to be careful with these yellow cards. last thing we need is players sent off and suspensions. alan lee especially needs to cool down.

Yeah, Lee's been a nutter in the first half.
Wonder if we'll see Stern John back in a Palace shirt in the second half? |

wouldn't mind seeing scannell given a run out in the second half at some point. at least we have some good options on the bench.

Wasn't expecting that the way we've been playing! Super Dazza's 15th of the season.

Such a gritty performance. We didn't play well for long periods but dug deep, showed that brilliant team spirit again, never gave up, and got the win. Very proud of them!

great win. don't care about the performance, right now its
the points that matter. we can definitely start looking upwards again. Ambrose & Danns are both priceless as far as i'm concerned and i'm so pleased that we kept them. Warnock continues to do a brilliant job and i hope we get a new owner soon as what this squad could be capable of with some new investment to back it up is really exciting. |

Seen both the goals, now. Both were superb but I especially liked Danns effort, the way he cut back onto his left and curled it into the far corner... sublime!

swansea boss has gone and opened his big gob about our administration ahead of tuesday nights game... Quote:
SWANSEA CITY boss Paulo Sousa has lit the fuse on Tuesday’s trip to Crystal Palace by insisting the cash-starved Eagles should be relegated from the Championship. link
Palace’s slide into administration has seen the club deducted 10 points and forced to sell teenage star Victor Moses to Wigan for £2.5m. The points deduction suddenly plunged play-off chasing Palace into a relegation battle – but Sousa believes the punishment does not fit the crime. And, with the two camps at loggerheads over Albert Serran’s contentious red card in the goalless draw at the Liberty Stadium six weeks ago, Sousa’s comments will up the ante ahead of the Selhurst Park rematch. “In England the (financial) rules are there for everyone to see and it is important to follow these rules,” said Sousa. “They give respect to everyone in football who is honest and trying to do his best. Losing points is unfair for the players and the manager, but it’s also unfair for the other clubs who are working very hard to deal with contracts and other things. “In other countries – and it is my opinion also – I would like to see not to take 10 points off, but to automatically relegate because it’s unfair on the other clubs.” |
