Simon Jordan has finally spoken out about everything. There are interviews in the Sunday Mirror and Sunday Telegraph.

Brilliant result yesterday!
Sounds like we weren't great, but with so many matches right now it's great to get a win like this. |

Sunday Mirror Sunday Telegraph the whole thing. Jordan is right, it was an odd time to put the club into administration, possibly knocking prices off of players and then to lend another million to cover wages seems almost schizophrenic, considering they put the administration order in after we used money to pay wages - which COULD have gone to servicing the debits. Jordan seems to be in an intresting situation, holding 72% of the debt, although not as a secured creditor. |

Seen both the goals, now. Both were superb but I especially liked Danns effort, the way he cut back onto his left and curled it into the far corner... sublime!

Was just looking at our fixture list and if you include the Cup match against Villa this weekend six of our next seven games are at Selhurst. The only away game in that run being at Doncaster on 27th Feb.
Shefki Kuqi back at Selhurst tomorrow night for the Swans. Hope he's not another in a long-line of ex-players that scores against us! |

Maybe there's some billionaire sitting on his yacht somewhere, who'll see that and realise it's exactly what he's looking to invest in. Or maybe not.
Looking forward to tonight, I'd be happy with a draw to be honest. |

i hope that is a case of the administrators just covering all their bases and not a case of the Parish consortium no longer interested or anyone else for that matter.

Half-Time: Palace 0-1 Swansea
Not looking good so far. Their defence is going to be hard to unlock. Warnock needs to do his half-time magic, again. |

Full-Time: Palace 0-1 Swansea
Not a great night for us with a number of teams around us winning. The next league game against Reading is crucial. |

the lads have given a lot recently, we were bound to slip up at some point - we'll bounce back, Villa will be a good occasion but the next league matches are key.

Tonight had the feel of an exhausted club. After all the matches recently it was one game too far.
Outplayed in the first half, but could have nicked something in the end though. We just don't have the creativity to get past a team which defends like that. Crap game all-round and dreadful attendance too. ![]() Lets hope we can get back up for Sunday! |

pretty poor show alll round. just played long ball, no one could hold onto it or get the ball down on the deck. no shape, no width. i'd like to see the likes of andrew, scannell, djilali given a run after the villa game as some are obviously knackered. on a side note - the adimistrator has given us an update about what is happening: Quote:
Crystal Palace's administrators have fielded 20 expressions of interest in buying the cash-strapped club as they attempt to secure its future. link
The Championship club were forced into administration a fortnight ago with debts upwards of £30million. The P&A Partnership have since been tasked with keeping the club afloat and took out an advert in today's Financial Times in a bid to sell it. The advert offered buyers the chance to own "a long-established south London club" who are "currently enjoying success in the FA Cup". Administrator Brendan Guilfoyle tonight described interest in the club as "encouraging" although he admitted ensuring they could play out the season was a more pressing concern than finding a buyer at present. "We've got about 20 parties who have expressed an interest in buying the club which is encouraging," he told BBC Radio 5 Live. "There are some time-wasters around inevitably in football, but 20 is not a bad start. "Our immediate objective was to secure money to pay wages, which we've done. Then to satisfy the Football League we have the cash to complete the season with the cash we've got, which we're doing. Then we look ahead to potential purchasers." Guilfoyle said today's advert in the Financial Times was more a matter of process and admitted he did not yet have a price with which he would be willing to sell the club. "The advert is there to demonstrate that we're undertaking a full and open sale process," he said. "The reality is that most of the world knows the club is up for sale, but just in case the advert goes in." He added: "Fans will have to be patient with me. It's early days yet and actually breaking down what is behind the numbers takes time. "I have to take the best offer to creditors. I'm open to offers, I don't have a figure in mind." Guilfoyle also revealed he would meet a Member of Parliament on Wednesday evening regarding Palace's tenancy at their home ground Selhurst Park. The Eagles are currently paying £1.2million a year in rent to a subsidiary of Rock Investment Holdings Limited, but, after they also went into administration, Guilfoyle is hoping to secure a more attractive deal. "I expect purchasers to seek clarification of the situation with the ground," he said. "I'm in touch with the administrators of the parent company of the ground. They're taking instructions from the bank that appointed them. "I'm also having a chat with the local MP tomorrow evening to describe to him the situation and see if he can bring any pressure to bear so I can bring the two assets together." |

^ If there are 20 interested parties interested, at least we know that he is not rushing things and making sure we properly benefit. It also helps to know that he is trying to sort out the stadium, which will benefit us in the long run, and is also meeting the Trust, and the local MP.
