Final score: Palace 0-1 Leicester.

Another defeat, another game without a goal. I just cannot see any light at the end of this very long, dark tunnel. It gets more depressing by the match.

Blackpool & Forest away up next.
hand on heart i just cannot see us staying up right now.
we cannot score, we have a very limited squad, and
from what i've seen so far i've not been remotely
impressed by Paul Hart, his team selections or his
substitutions. we have the look & the feel of a team that
is heading down.

paul hart is going to get us relegated. after last night i am more sure of that than i was before. the man hasn't got a clue. his team selections are so negative. last night he selected a team from the off hoping to scrape a draw. he takes off lee at half-time and leaves on andrew who is a huge waste of space and so out of his depth its ridiculous. then he waits until there are only 11 minutes left before bringing on scannell. but what does he do, does he take off ertl or derry, no, he takes off our best attacking midfielder ambrose. i was staggered. i don't care that we were down to 10-men, we need to be attacking teams from the off especially at home.

we cannot score goals but its no surprise when we are set up to be defensive. its like he's hoping we can keep a clean sheet and scrape a 1-0 win on the break every game.

last time we were heading for relegation in this division and alan smith got the sack with a few games to go and steve kember took over he knew to stay in the division we had to go all out attack, and it worked.

i wasn't happy when hart got the job and i'm extremely unhappy now. we are heading down, we are in freefall and unless he changes the tactics & team selections and be's much more positive i can't see that changing.

P Diddy interested in Palace

I feel bad about linking to this paper, but it's worth it for this story doing the rounds!

Makes me smile, whether it's true or not.

I liked the line "he likes the name aswell" lol, sounds like me having a flutter on the GG's.

In all seriousness though, the state we are in at the moment, I would take anyone from anywhere with any backgound that is worth the money he is. I don't think we can afford to be choosy!

fair enough. but what we don't want is someone who see's us as their new plaything and jumps ship in a couple of years when they get bored. what we need more than ever is stability and an owner who can give that for many years to come. if they can do that, as you say, i don't care what country or background they're from.

This P Diddy rumour has been backed up by the BBC.

However, there seems to be some contradiction with some newspaper reports...

Quote:
“Crystal Palace administrator Brendan Guilfoyle has laughed off suggestions P Diddy is ready to buy the cash-strapped club even though he would be delighted to listen to the rap superstar’s offer.

Reports on Thursday claimed P Diddy, aka Puff Daddy and real name Sean Combs, was ready to rescue Palace while his publicity machine did little to dampen speculation the music and fashion mogul is keen to invest in English ‘soccer’.

But Guilfoyle insisted he has heard nothing from the Bad Boys Inc president although he left the the door open to an approach.

‘There is no truth in it whatsoever, I wish,’ said Guilfoyle.”

According to the minutes of the latest Trust meeting, Guilfoyle said he has 5 interested parties and anticipates someone moving to 'prefered bidder status' by the end of this month.

Personally, I'll believe it when I see it.

blackpool away today. history is against us in this one. we've not done the double over them since 1922 and have not won an away match against them for 86 years!

That bodes well then!

This P Diddy rumour won't go away. The Sun are adamant something is happening.

team news in for today. defence looks as lightweight as the attack.

Speroni, Hill, Derry, Ambrose, Danns, Carle, Hills, Lawrence, Lee, Butterfield, Ertl.

Subs: Comley, Scannell, Djilali, Mann, Andrew, John, N'Diaye.

Blinding start for us. Carle puts us 1-0 up.

nice. when i saw our line-up the best i thought we could get was a 0-0. i still reckon a draw will be a good result.
