from the croydon advertiser: Quote:
Palace have offered Patrick Kisnorbo the chance to earn a contract at Selhurst Park.
Kisnorbo is available on a free transfer after being released by Leicester City following four seasons at the Walkers Stadium. He is currently training with Palace and manager Neil Warnock confirmed his interest in securing the Australian defender on a contract. "Kisnorbo is training with us," Warnock said. "We will have to act quickly if we want him because there are a couple of other clubs who are interested. He is a smashing lad." |

Crystal Palace would like to inform all supporters that the pre-season game on Sunday 2nd August has been subject to an opposition change. Unbelievable! What idiots.
This decision has been made by AS Nancy-Lorraine who have called off their entire UK trip, in which they were also set to play West Brom, due to concerns about Swine Flu. However, we are pleased to announce that a fixture has been organised already against League One side Gillingham Football Club. |

^ typical of the french, always overreacting! some more news... Quote:
Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock is expecting striker Danny Webber to join Championship rivals Middlesbrough.
Webber is available on a free transfer after leaving Sheffield United and has been attracting interest from several clubs. Warnock had been keen to sign the 27-year-old after working with the former Manchester United youngster during his time in charge at Bramall Lane. However, Warnock is resigned to missing out on Webber and believes he will sign for Boro following their relegation from the Premier League. "It looks as if Danny will be going to Middlesbrough - it's difficult for us to compete with their money," Warnock told the Croydon Advertiser. He added on Sky Sports News: "Danny is a good player and I know he has got one or two offers, which I'd expect for a player of his quality." Warnock saw Serbian trialist Goran Maric score in Thursday evening's 4-0 friendly win over Boreham Wood and confirmed he is looking to sign a striker with a physical presence. "I need a taller, bigger lad to start with," commented Warnock. "We will have to see in the next few weeks when we probably come back from America as to what's available and what we're going to go for. "We need a bit of luck, like anybody else." |

Interesting that Alan Lee played. Be quite ironic if he is still there come the start of the season.
Good to see Sears on the scoresheet. I reckon we've got a real gem, there. |

Harrisburg City Islanders 1 - 3 Palace (Sears, Ambrose, Danns)
OK so it's only 2 games against small teams, but Sears is sounding pretty good. |

Yeah, I may be jumping the gun, but I'm beginning to think that in Sears we may have a 20-goal a season man. Something we seriously lacked last season.

Blimey other Palace fans! I thought I was the only one.
Not sure what to think about next season we need a couple mores strikers, we can't keep up with only Alan Lee who is useless and Freddie Sears. |

Maybe this will be Moses year to really step up?
Did him & Warnock have a falling out last season? |

We definitely need a couple of more strikers in, as Willz mentions. Still no news about Danny Webber and where he is going. |
