andrew on for lee. we're sitting back too much for my liking. just as we did at blackpool.

Latest - Doncaster 1-2 Plymouth. That will put Plymouth right back in touch.

final score - middlesbro' 1-1 palace

would have taken a point before the game so a good effort from the lads.

It's a good point but it's also an opportunity missed. Now we have to get our home form sorted, we really have to beat Preston on Monday.

Other full-times:

Doncaster 1-2 Plymouth
Peterborough 2-3 Newcastle
Preston 1-1 Watford
QPR 1-1 Sheff Wed

a big worry is plymouth winning. that will give them renewed hope and they are at home to boro' on monday and will fancy that. i expect sheff wed to beat bristol city at hillsborough on monday. watford play west brom. so we definitely have to beat preston.

It's really too tight to call. More twists and turns to come. But it's imperative we get our home form sorted. If we don't then we can forget survival. Our aim has to be 3 wins from our last 5 matches.

spot on. three home games left. we need to win 2 of
them.

a well earned point today . glad that Watford &
Sheff W didn't win. Plymouth winning could be a
problem. their run-in isn't too horrendous.

Monday against Preston is huge and i think it's this
result that will determine alot for our survival hopes.

Early team news for today's massive game.

Palace defender Lee Hills is still suspended, but Clint Hill returns to contention after a ban.

Nathaniel Clyne is still out with a hip injury, while fellow right-back Danny Butterfield is nursing a hamstring problem and will be assessed.

brilliant win for us. and an absolutely huge win when you
look at all the other scores. at long long last everything
has gone our way for a change.

what a game coming up on saturday against QPR!

friggin' brilliant!

we were great from the start and were so unlucky to go a goal down. when we did i thought here we go again but to the lads credit they didn't drop their heads and kept going and going and we fully deserved the win and the 3 points.

a huge confidence booster, finally ending the bad home form. and i couldn't believe all the other results went our way!! what a massive game the qpr one will now be.

we keep up this form and i think we'll be alright but we mustn't relax. we have to keep going. 4 more games. 2 wins should do it. come on palace!!

As a Palace fan, I'm frightened to be happy.

Went through the ringer today but absolutely delighted with how it all turned out. I thought the worst when we went a goal down but it was a brilliant comeback. Should have had a penalty for handball, how that was missed was ridiculous.

Scannell was superb in the first half, Ambrose in the second half, and Ertl throughout.

The other results was a huge bonus but it's far from over yet. If we can beat QPR then I will start to feel alot happier but I think after the pasting they took today that is going to be extremely tough.

What a brilliant day. Great win, with attacking play and a really good atmosphere too.

Let's take this positivity on to Saturday.

even looking at those remaining fixtures for everyone it's difficult to gage who is in the most danger. this part of the season tends to throw up weird results so we cannot take anything for granted. i still think we need at least 5 points, maybe even 6 or 7 to stay up.

Sheff W have a very tough run-in.
that Sheffield derby is going to be vital. form goes
out the window in those type of games so Wednesday
could get 3 valuable points there.

I just hope we're 3 points ahead of Wednesday going into that last game of the season at Hillsborough. At least then we'll know they can't overtake us because of our goal difference.

There's optimism for you!

How about Soares scores an own goal and sends them down instead?
