Full-time: Sheff Wed 1-1 Sheff United

That was without doubt one of the most nerve-wracking 90 minutes I have sat through without Palace being involved!

Good result for us. Nice one United for not getting beat!

Next agonising 90 minutes comes up on Tuesday night when QPR play Watford at Loftus Road. That's Watford'd game in hand.

Anyone know if BBC are showing a game on the last day of the season? Maybe our game will be on?

As far as I know any decision has to be made by April 27th, that's the day after we play West Brom. So that probably means both Sky & BBC will wait until after next weekend's fixtures before deciding which matches to show live on the final Sunday.

this next week is going to be torture as watford play twice and wednesday once before we play again. but if wednesday draw or lose at cardiff next saturday we will know that 3 points against west brom on the 26th and we'll be safe!

Make sure your boys do us a favour though tomorrow night by losing! Just to keep things interesting.

Looks like Steve Coppell is going to become Bristol City's new manager!

So far this season, Palace have won 8 home games and West Brom have lost 3 away games. I guess that makes Palace favourites for 3 points

The Palace players really owe us a good performance at home as we have been abysmal at Selhurst for the most part. 10 defeats there so far this season which is unacceptable. We're all hoping that the Baggies will already be thinking of beaches and cruises by the 26th!

Watford's a good away day, so would be nice if this happens.

Although, us and Sheff Wed both celebrating survival on the last day could be a fun experience.

latest from CPFC2010:

CPFC 2010 Support completely any efforts made by the Crystal Palace FC Supporters Trust to raise funds for the club. The CPFC 2010 bid is dependant on securing Selhurst Park as part of its long term plan to build a future for Crystal Palace Football Club. Whilst discussions with PWC and their agents have been encouraging there are no guarantees that agreement will be reached on this or a number of other issues around the clubs emergence from administration via a CVA.

It is therefore the opinion of CPFC 2010 that no one should be complacent that a deal will happen and any and all contingencies that can be , should be put in place.

Should CPFC 2010 succeed in their bid then they would welcome discussion with the trust around how those funds might be used in other ways to further the stability , infrastructure and secure future of the club or see the funds safely returned to the fans if no such agreement can be reached.

Please be assured that we are working diligently in the background to achieve the outcome we all desire as fans, players, staff management and investors in CPFC 2010 which is a future for Crystal Palace FC.

^ There's been rumours abound that the Trust are about to reveal their money raising project in the hopes of becoming a part of the consortium. This article seems to point to that being true.

if that does happen maybe they can come up with the money that wil enable the consortium to finally secure the ground?

full time at home park: plymouth 0-2 newcastle.

that's plymouth confirmed as relegated & newcastle as champions. so west brom can only finish runners-up now which may benefit us.

I suppose that is a possibility. No doubt the consortium would accept any financial help if it were to push through both the sale of the club & the ground. Once again we wait and see.

That's a terrible blow for the kid. Hopefully he will make a full and speedy recovery.

QPR v Watford & Scunthorpe v Reading tonight. Scunny only need a point to be safe due to the fact we play Sheff W on the last day of the season. So it's come on Rangers & Reading!

Shame about Scunthorpe but it was unlikely they would be caught.

However, QPR have beaten Watford 1-0 which is better news for us. That keeps the Hornets right in it with us and Sheff W.

Makes a change that Sky moving our game to a weekday has actually worked out well.

Gonna be a big weekend!
