my feeling is that Sheff W will get something at Cardiff on Saturday
and that Watford won't get beat at home to Reading. But that still may mean a win for us might be enough for safety. I keep hoping that we can play like we did against Wolves & Villa in the cup. If we can somehow find that kind of form again we will be in with a good chance. |

Rumours abound that Palace board members and officials yesterday and earlier in the week met with Charlton, Millwall & Gillingham to discuss groundshare possibilities should the CPFC2010 bid not be successful!

more news about the gorund: Quote:
THE administrators in charge of Selhurst Park have revealed that they are yet to receive any “formal offers” for the ground. link
A consortium of wealthy fans known as CPFC 2010 are in the process of trying to rescue Palace from administration. Their proposed takeover is conditional on the group also being able to buy the stadium. Selhurst Park is currently being sold by estate agents CB Richard Ellis on behalf of administrators PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). It has been reported that PwC’s valuation of the ground exceeds what CPFC 2010 are willing to pay, but according to Barry Gilbertson – a senior partner at PwC - no offer has yet been made. “The situation concerning Selhurst Park is extremely complex involving a number of different parties,” he said. “We are working as quickly as possible to make the sale in the interests of all parties, but we’re particularly sensitive to Crystal Palace football club and the surrounding community. “While no formal offers have been received we are continuing to explore interest with all parties. We are in dialogue with the CPFC 2010 consortium and remain hopeful that they will come forward with an offer.” |

^ That sounds to me as if the consortium may be waiting to see what division we are in for next season?

Just suddenly realised sonething... that if any potential deal for Selhurst doesn't go through and we have to end up leaving the place then Monday night could be our last home game at Selhurst for a long while OR forever!!

despite the ongoing uncertainty of our future, we have still gone and arranged our first pre-season friendly. ![]() Quote:
Crystal Palace are delighted to announce that on Saturday 17th July 2010 (3pm KO) we will be welcoming Premier League giants Chelsea to Selhurst Park for a pre-season fixture. Link
Tickets are now on sale with adult tickets priced at £15 and concessions at £5. There is also a Special Family Offer available for the day that allows Under 16s accompanied by a full paying adult to gain admittance for just £1. CPFC cannot guarantee which players will be available to participate from both squads. The administrators of Crystal Palace FC are pleased to announce the forthcoming pre-season friendly against Chelsea FC on 17th July 2010 .Due to the club's current financial situation, all gate receipts from this fixture shall be held on trust and only released to the club should the fixture go ahead. In the event that the fixture is not fulfilled due to the club's current financial situation, all ticket purchases shall be refunded. |

^ Let's hope the fixture goes ahead. Still, it could be deemed promising that pre-season fixtures are being looked at and arranged.
Here we go, then, huge 90 minutes coming up and we're not even playing. Cardiff v Sheff Wed and Watford v Reading about to get underway. |

Watford slipping up would be a bonus but it's much more important that Sheff W don't win.

I would take those as full-time scores right now!
As it stands at half-time: 19 Watford 45 -13 51 20 Scunthorpe 45 -22 51 21 Crystal Palace 44 -3 47 ------------------------------------------ 22 Sheff Wed 45 -19 47 23 Plymouth 45 -23 41 24 Peterborough 45 -35 31 |
