It's over at the Sheff Weds game and destiny is now in Palace's hands. In fact I am not sure a team has had as much say in their own fate in their last 2 games as Palace do now.
Best of luck |

Full-times:
Watford 3-0 Reading --- Watford are safe. Cardiff 3-2 Sheff Wed -- Keeps Wednesday in the bottom three. Hats off to Cardiff for a great result and doing us a massive favour. Edit: Cheers Blackadder.

One huge, epic performance now on Monday night, that's what we need. Every man to sweat blood for the shirt and the cause. Every fan to back them with everything we've got.
Come on Palace!

thank you Cardiff.
![]() amazing 90 minutes. got to give Wednesday full credit, they gave it everything. you always want destiny in your own hands in situations like this and if this result today hasn't given everyone at Palace a lift i don't know what will. we need to go out there on Monday night and give it a right old go just like we did against Wolves & Villa in the cup. no playing for a draw which we've done too much of lately. the atmosphere is going to be electric. i hope the boys can respond. |

fair enough. but i hope the players and all of us are not thinking
"what if" after the game because of a missed opportunity. i'd rather lose the game going for it then sitting back and hoping for the best. |

Come And See Live Eagles Take To The Air Quote:
Two feathered friends will be in attendance at Selhurst Park tonight to support Crystal Palace in the club's last home game of the season. Eagles! Kayla, a North American Bald Eagle and Alaska, a Bald Eagle - both from Eagle Heights Wildlife Park in Eynsford, will be flying around the ground as the players exit the tunnel ahead of the 8pm kick off at Selhurst Park against West Bromich Albion.

![]() I've pretty much accepted that we're going down ever since we lost to Bristol City, we're unbelievably awful at the moment. Gave it a go at Cardiff and the effort was there, which makes a change, but our usual achilles heel of a complete lack of creativity and a dodgy defence cost us yet again. I personally reckon you'll win tonight seeing as you know exactly what you have to do. Even if it goes down to the last game, there's no way we'll break down a team who set out to resolutely defend. As soon as we get into the final third we don't have a clue. |

If we don't win tonight, next week is certainly gonna be a crazy finish to the season. |

Wish I was that confident - West Brom's away form is great and our home record is pretty poor.

brendan guilfoyle has been on sky sports news pretty much confirming that our money virtually runs out in the next couple of weeks and if we don't have a complete assurance of the purchase of the club then players will start to be sold to keep the club afloat.
plus, he will be meeting the administrators of selhurst park on wednesday. the stories are that cpfc2010 are still unwilling to meet the price that pwc have set (rumoured to be £6m) however, four other parties (one of them sainsburys) are willing to pay the full asking price. also cpfc2010 have rubbished reports that they had opened talks with charlton, millwall & gillingham about possible groundsharing. according to them it's selhurst or nothing. |

Someone told me before the ground is listed as a sports complex so surely Sainsbury's can't do anything with it if they buy it |

Do West Brom have any history with Palace?
Would they relish seeing you down or would they not care either way? |

not good news and seems to be a stupid thing to say before maybe our bigggest game ever.
Someone told me before the ground is listed as a sports complex so surely Sainsbury's can't do anything with it if they buy it It's all a waiting game now. Either the consortium & trust come up with the funds or a deal to purchase the ground or PWC just wait until we go under and then sell Selhurst to the highest bidder (which would probably be Sainsbury's.) But those in the know still seem to think a deal will be brokered soon. Quote:

At least palace have two chances to avoid the drop. After tonight Wednesday might not even have one chance
