Ertl who has played seven times for Austria, put in a number of solid performances during the last campaign for the Eagles, and played a crucial role in the 2-2 draw at Hillsborough against Sheffield Wednesday which saw Palace secure their place in the Championship.
Blades boss Kevin Blackwell told their official website: "He's a good lad who can do a very solid job at right-back, central midfield and even at centre-half. And he has played enough times in the Championship for me to know he can come in and do it for us here."”
it's a shame he didn't hang around to talk to the new owners. it's a loss but not a massive one and i wish him well.

we'll definitely see a few players leave but i reckon most will stay especially once contracts have been sorted which the new owners are already working on. plus when we do get the new manager in (hopefully in the next couple of weeks) we'll be able to bring in a few new signings and be ready for the pre-season.
