we're so flat today. just can't get anything going.

Disappointing result but what's more of a letdown was the performance. We were impotent today. Lots of possession but did absolutely nothing with it.

poor all round. one of those games where the sooner we put it behind us the better. not a game we should be losing but we did and we move on.

clear though more than ever that we need another striker in and quickly.

It just has to be the absolute priority. If we don't get one in by the end of the month I can only see us struggling to stay in mid-table at best.

It was the most boring match I have ever watched I think. Most entertaining bit were the songs!

Saw the goal. Harsh on Paddy as he was trying his best to cut out the cross. Maybe he could have wrapped his foot around a bit better.

overall not good but not terrible. Danns did well when he came on. i would start him
next game. Lee worked hard as usual and Zaha was spritely again.
Clyne was poor, right off his game. everyone else was average at
best.

we are keeping and passing the ball alot better but we lack that potency
in the final third. if we can solve that we will do alright this season.

Agreed. Would probably only play every other game or so but the experience he would bring for the younger players would be invaluable to have. I would still be amazed to see it happen, though. Now others know he wants to make a comeback surely someone else will offer him a better deal than we can?

Officialy out of administration then, almost feels boring not having a crisis at the club.
