Strange decision today. Left Moses on the bench until after City had scored! Do we really need to rest our best players this early in the season?

Wow- thats one of the craziest decisions I've ever seen.
Obvious and clear goal. I bet Colin burst a gasket

Can't believe that goal wasn't given. How the ref & linesman didn't see it between them is staggering. Its incidents like that, that really make you furious and another reason to have goal-line technology.

Gutting to come away from that game with nothing.
We played really well and just one mistake at the back (and one from the linesman!) hands them the win. Couldn't see what'd actually happened with Sears' goal at the time, but having seen it now it's just shocking.

I just seen the video. That was a a disgracful decision by the officials!
Bristol City should of let palace score or score an own goal. They all knew it was a goal so why didnt they let palace score the goal they fairly deserved. |

Typical lack of class from Johnson, the guy really is a complete tool.

Hopefully the lads can put it behind them and get a good result at Ipswich tomorrow night. |

Ipswich tonight then, Warnock should have them really up for this after the weekend.
Alan Lee against his old club - that's got to mean a goal hasn't it?

Fantastic stuff!
This might be just our first win, but we've started this season really well. And now Newcastle, Man City and Peterborough coming up in quick succession. Exciting times!

Just seen the goals and the second from Ambrose is a gem.
Its what we needed ahead of the Toons visit this weekend. That could be a cracking game. |

Timely win yesterday, really needed that.
Im counting the days till the end of the transfer window, really worried that we could lose one or two players!! |

You could be right to be worried, Oblivian. ![]() Quote:
Wigan are in talks with Crystal Palace over the possible signing of Victor Moses, skysports.com understands.
The Latics have held a long-term interest in the skilful wide-man and are aiming to thrash out a deal with Palace to bring Moses to the DW Stadium. A number of other Premier League clubs are believed to be keeping tabs on Moses, but Wigan are hoping to steal a march on their rivals by luring him to the North West. Moses, who has come through the youth ranks at Palace, is highly regarded and is tipped for a big future in the game. The 18-year-old was left out of Palace's squad for Tuesday's win at Ipswich, fuelling speculation of a possible departure and the Championship club are believed to be willing to sell for the right price. Latics boss Roberto Martinez has admitted he is keen to bring in a couple of new faces before the close of the transfer window and it appears Moses could be one of his top targets. |

that would not be good news at all. if he does go it better be for a load of money and not some pittance of a deal.

More news... Quote:
The Football Association will not punish Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock for his comments after his side's disallowed goal against Bristol City.
But Palace chairman Simon Jordan has been asked to explain his words, in which he criticised the referee Rob Shoebridge and Bristol City's players. Palace were denied a valid goal in the 1-0 defeat at Ashton Gate when Freddie Sears fired home on 30 minutes. Warnock complained his team had been "cheated" by the decision. But it is understood that Warnock's comments were deemed as criticising the performance of the referee rather than a personal attack on Shoebridge. However Jordan's comments - in which he claimed that Bristol City's players had cheated - were considered to be pre-meditated, and the Palace chairman could face an improper conduct and fine if found guilty. |

lol. jordan in potential trouble again.
about victor moses. apparently we have already rejected an offer of around £4m for him from wigan. not sure if thats true or not, though, as other reports suggest we may accept £3m plus player(s). |

I suppose there's going to be more and more of these Moses rumours, as the window gets nearer to a close. I still have a feeling (or maybe it's more of a hope) that he'll still be here come September.
Can't wait for Newcastle tomorrow! |
