anything less than 4 points from those 2 games would be unacceptable.
my support for burley is vanishing fast...

enough is enough. Burley's tactics are dated, he doesn't know how to change
a game when things are going against us and questions have to be asked what
is going on in training when our defence look like strangers every week.

as i said earlier in the thread, January will be too late to change things
as the way things are going we will be well adrift at the bottom by then.
i hope i'm wrong about that but the signs aren't good at all.

Edgar Davids gone then, cant help thinking he could of had more of an impact if he had been played in a better position i most games.

Dont know how much more Burley I can take to be honest.

Yep, shame to see Edgar go. More here.

Not overly surprised but I do agree that things could have been different if he had actually played in his favourite position.

To be fair, he was pretty crap whenever he was in his 'best' position too.

Was fun to see him in a Palace shirt for a while anyway. Probably a good decision though.

sad to see him go. his legs just weren't there anymore but it was great to see him in a palace shirt, even for a short while.

we do need a defensive midfielder in the january transfer window. shaun derry is badly missed.

probably for the best that Davids is gone. he was a passenger at times and
made too many mistakes.

not too optimistic about tomorrow night. morale must be very low within the squad.

An ominous stat for tonight - Watford have scored more away goals so far this term then any other Championship side. Oh dear...

Aargh. I missed the opening game 'cos I was on holiday and tonight because I'd had some eye treatment ... six points I've missed.

good 3-2 win tonight. nearly threw it away again. luck on our side for a change.
don't think it covers over the obvious cracks though.

Get in! Awesome game. That's what football's about.

Proper battling second half performance too. And 3 great goals.

A much needed 3 points!

Thought we'd blown it again when Watford went 2-1 up. But credit to the lads for fighting back this time and not letting their heads drop.

Three brilliant goals, especially from Ambrose and Garvan's second.

But our defence gives me nightmares. Every time the opposition attacks I panic! It's not good for my health!

good win, hopefully you dont get to build on it saturday

3-1 to cov i think after 2 losses on trot

during the 1st half i thought we were going to get tonked again. at 2-1 down i though it was a case of how many watford would get. still can't believe we won the game. our goals were stunning.

if we can somehow somehow somehow tighten up at the back we can start picking up points more regularly now. big if, though.

George Burley insists he is not worried about his job despite Palace's
awful start to the season.

Half-time: Palace 1-0 Coventry

Ambrose with the goal. Boy, have we missed him!

That's hope Ambrose stays fit all season, were gonna need his goals.

Full-time: Palace 2-0 Coventry

Two goals for Dazza. When he is firing on all cylinders we are a different proposition. And perhaps even better than that... a clean sheet!

Yay.

Good performance, great win.

Let's hope we can keep this stable team for a while.

very. 2 good wins. getting a clean sheet was a massive plus also.

big question is have we now turned the corner or is this just a flash in the pan? next 2 games are gonna be just as big...

very happy with back-to-back wins. bit lucky with the two goals
so maybe how luck has changed at last.

really really good to see Ambrose back and fully fit. what a massive
difference he makes to the side.
