I think Speroni leaving is a given. But I suppose it does depend on offers coming in for him.

And to be honest it wouldn't surprise me at all if Danns was offloaded, also.

Just as long as we get adequate replacements and a few extra new faces in January I will be content.

“Palace are busy taking a look at two former Premier League players.

The Daily Mail says Palace boss George Burley is keen on Dover FA Cup hero Adam Birchall.

Former Arsenal trainee Birchall, 25, scored both goals as Dover dumped out League Two Aldershot on Saturday.

Palace are also giving a trial to former Hull and Bolton Wanderers defender Bernard Mendy, 29.”

i think the neil danns thing has been coming for ages so wouldn't be surprised one bit if he gets sold next month.

Leeds game still going ahead despite the big freeze (at least for now it is!)

Alex Marrow looks set to miss out with an ankle injury and Owen Garvan is serving a two-game ban.

Paddy McCarthy is still out with a groin injury.

very attacking line up. hopefully a good thing.

Yeah, surprised by that. I had thought O'Keefe might have started to bolster the midfield.

Listening to the game on BBC London (DAB and Sky) sounds end to end so far.

I know that he had started training again last month. Not sure if he's ready to be selected yet.

Sean Scannell is another that was supposed to be close to training again but I've not heard anything for a while.

As expected we're under a lot of pressure right now. Please don't do what we did up at 'Boro.

Yep. Totally fed up of being told that we play well but still end up losing the game.
How many times is that now this season?

its way beyond a joke now.

Another striker and a couple of defenders is an absolute must for Burley to bring in next month. We know we can play well and create chances but we need someone to stick those chances away and we need defenders who can defend for the full 90 minutes. The amount of late goals we've conceded this season is very worrying.

but don't forget we're probably gonna lose both speroni & danns in january also which will be massive losses if that happens...

burley has his work cut out big time.
Sattrega
04-12-2010
That's more than likely but it's still an "if" right now.

Burley deserves the chance of having a transfer window to sign a few of the loan players we've had and also to get in some new faces. The squad is obviously too lightweight and our current position shows that.
